Objective:To analyze the clinical features, related risk factors, and choice of commonly used therapeutics of young gout patients,to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods:Data of 1288 patients with gout was collected from our hospital, divided into the young group(686 cases),middle age group(394 cases),and the elderly group(208cases).We did retrospective analysis to summarize the clinical characteristics of young gout. Results: From the perspective of age distribution, young patients(?44 years old)with gout high prevalence accounted for 53.26% of the total cases analyzed, which has become most indispensable component of gout patients,of which the duration of <10years(89.07%)showed the typical short course and sudden onset of disease;the specific manifestation of the disease: patients suffering joints symptoms in the first place identified with the first metatarsophalangeal joint, ankle and knee joint, accompanied by fatty liver(55.39%),followed by hypertension. In our study, patients without urological ultrasonography(59.43%)and with normal rological ultrasonography(57.85%)were the majority, but in those with urinary ultrasound abnormalities, their results indicated kidney stones(41.82%)and prostate enlargement with calcification 36.93%),so urinary ultrasound has some supplemental effect in gout patient. In addition, laboratory data showed that young gout patients with sUA,WBC,triglyceride levels higher than the middle-aged group. The main predisposing factors for drinking alcohol, followed by the high-purine diet.Alcohol and cigarette consumption history is basically the same in this two groups, which showed number of patients with alcohol consumption history is more than the number of smoking history.Family history has a significant proportion(22.16%),the family history of hypertension also dominated;from the perspective of drug choice, painkillers and more non-steroidal,uric acid lowering drugs and more choice of febuxostat, gout Second, alkalized urine and more use of sodium bicarbonate tablets. Conclusion:According to our study,we can conclude that young people have become the high-risk people of suffering from gout, the high proportion of youth patientsin the gouty people could not be ignored.Regarding to the clinical features of young gouty patients comparing to the elderly patients,we suggest the specific clinic therapeutics should be applicated. The main inducing factors of gout in youth is drinking as well as high purine diet, meanwhile, the youth gouty patients often concomitant with fatty liver, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. The relevant between the related family history and high blood pressure is significant. Therefore, the healthy life style, reasonable diet and earlier integrated treatment are more conducive to disease prevention, besides, the young gouty patients need specific clinical therapeutics.
