Treatment Strategy For Hip Fractures In Elderly Patients Aged 80 Years Old And Over

Objective: A retrospective study about clinical information of 205 standard patients of hip fractures in recent five years,in our hospital,So as to summarize the comprehensive surgical treatment strategies of hipfractures in elderly patients.Methods: Based on the preoperative preparation and evaluation,Preoperative examination were conducted in time,the underlying diseases and general condition were adjusted positively,and then the suitable anesthesia methods and reasonable internal fixation were selected and the surgery was performed as soon as possible.Functional exercise was in progress early,Complication after the surgery was managed timely.The underlying diseases,fracture type,anesthesia method,surgical method,postoperative complications were analyzed.Results: patients with fracture of femur neck was 119,intertrochanteric fracture was 85,fracture between them was 1.There were 41 cases who have no underlying diseases,67 cases who have one kind of basic diseases,97 cases who have more than one underlying diseases.There were 175 patients with general anesthesia,and 30 patients with lumbar anesthesia.There were 30 patients chose PFNA,137 patients chose hip replacement,and28 cases who chose Dynamic Hip Screw.Postoperative complication: There were 9cases with heart,brain,lungs diseses and so on,and 4 patients with Deep Venous Thrombosis,only one case with incision abnormal,3 patient died after the opeation.Postoperative complication rate was 8.7%,which was at a lower level,survival rate after the surgery are 80%/70%/57%,and this rate declared a better treatment effect.Conclusion: Elderly Patients aged 80 and over of hip fracture with no diseases,we should perform the surgery as early as possible,after the quickly preoperative preparation.Elderly Patients aged 80 and over of hip fracture with some underlying diseases,shoud first adjust underlying diseases,on the basis of fracture pattern,and then select suitable anesthesia method and operation method as soon as posible,the survival rate isguaranteed,the treatment effect is often effective.
