Objective: To add Sodium Tanshinone ?A Silate injection into the therapeutic regimen of patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS),and to investigate the intervention effect of Sodium Tanshinone ?A Silate on common inflammatory factors of patients with ARDS by comparing the changes of common inflammatory factors and oxygenation indexes in the serum of patients before and after treatment. Methods: The patients who met the ARDS diagnostic criteria in the respiratory intensive care unit and emergency intensive care unit wards of the People's Hospital of Guizhou Province during 2016-2017 were recruited.Patients who had been treated for more than seven days were the research subjects. Before treatment, the patients' peripheral bloods were collected as well as centrifuged, and serum were preserved.According to the voluntary principle of informed consent, the patients were divided into two groups, the patients in the basic treatment group(Group A),and the patients in the basic treatment + Sodium Tanshinone ?A Silate intervention group(Group B).Among them, patients in group A were treated with the combined use of antibiotics, oxygen uptake,nebulization,phlegm-removing,cough relieving, airway management.Patients in group S were treated with 60 mg diluted Sodium Tanshinone ?A Silate injection once a day by intravenous drip on the basis of treatment in group A.Seven days after the above-mentioned treatment in each group, serum of patients were collected again, and the concentrations of IL-6,TNF-?,IL-8,and s ICAM-1 before and after treatment were measured by ELISA assay. The concentrations of inflammatory factors in the two groups were compared.Results:(1)During the period of using Sodium Tanshinone ?A Silate,no primary disease aggravation was observed, and no adverse reactions after the combined use of basal therapeutic drugs were observed.(2)The concentrations of IL-6,TNF-? and s ICAM-1 after treatment in group A and B were both significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05);the oxygenation indexes were both higher than those before treatment(P< 0.05),(3)The inflammatory factors IL-6,TNF-? and s ICAM-1 in the B group were significantly lower than those in the A group(P<0.05),and the improvement in oxygenation was better than that in the A group(P<0.05).(4)There was no significant difference in IL-8 concentration between group A and group B after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusions:(1)The addition of Sodium Tanshinone ?A Silate during the treatment of ARDS patients can further reduce the serum concentrations of IL-6,TNF-? and sICAM-1 and improve the oxygenation index.(2)Sodium Tanshinone ?A Silate cannot reduce the serum IL-8 concentration in patients with ARDS.
