| Objective: In this research,the retrospective case analysis was conducted to evaluate the effective rate,recurrence rate,complication rate,treatment time and cost of the treatment of ganglion cyst by the high concentration ozone combined with RP solution under the guidance of ultrasound.,and compare with surgical treatment,to explore its clinical values.Methods: The clinical datas of the patients with ganglion cyst treated in Longgang Central Hospital of Shenzhen City from January 2016 to October 2017 were retrospectively analyzed and summarized.According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,the complete information of relevant cases was consulted.Then follow up was performed by telephone or outpatient consultation,the follow-up time was more than half a year.and finally a total of 64 cases were included in the study.The patients were divided into two groups according to the different treatment options of patients,the group A(n=31 cases)was treated with high concentration of ozone and RP solution by the ultrasound guiding;Group B(n=33cases)was treated with surgical resection.The datas of treatment effect,recurrence,complications,hospitalization time and treatment costs were collected by followed up,and the Excel database was established and the datas were summed up.The datas of general data,effective rate,recurrence rate,complication rate,treatment times and treatment costs of the two groups were analyzed by SPSS21.0 software.The measurement datas were measured by mean±standard deviation(` x±s),the mean of two samples was compared by t test,the counting data was expressed as percentage of composition,and the sample rates of two groups was compared by chi-square test.The difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Results:(1)In the two groups,the proportion of male and female,the age,the course of disease,and the cyst size were compared,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant,the baseline was balanced.(2)The effective rate of with the high concentration ozone and RP solution under the ultrasound-guiding(group A)was 80.6%(25/31),while that of surgical resection(group B)was 87.9%(29/33).There was no significant statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(3)After 6 months of following up,the recurrence rate of the treatment with the high concentration ozone and RP solution under the ultrasound-guiding(group A)was19.4%(6/31),and the recurrence rate of surgicalresection(group B)was 12.1%(4/33).There was no significant difference in recurrence comparison between group A and group B(P>0.05).There was not any complications occureented in aspiration with high concentration ozone injection and RP solution treatment group(group A)under the ultrasound guiding.While the surgical treatment group(group B)had 6 complications,including 2 cases complained of local numbness and loss of consciousness after operation,1 case had too long scar wounds,2 cases had postoperative infection,and 1case with wrist joint bending deformity,the complication rate was 18.2%(6/33).There was a significant difference between the two groups in complication rates(P<0.05).(4)There was no need for hospitalization for treatment with high concentration ozone and RP solution(group A),while the surgical group(group B)required an average hospitalization time of(2.88 ±1.36)days.The average total cost of treatment in group A was(669.68 ±60.19)yuan,while the average total cost of treatment in group B was(3563.64 ±707.91)yuan,there was a significant difference in hospitalization time and treatment costs between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion: The treatment method of the ganglion cyst with aspiration plus high concentration ozone and RP solution injection by ultrasound guiding is safe and effective,Compared with conventional surgical resection,the clinical effective rate and reduce the recurrence rate were equivalent.And the ultrasound guided high concentration ozone injection therapy has the advantages of less complications,no hospitalization and low cost. |
