Objective: To investigate whether the use of progesterone is related to the incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods: Select sep 2015 to sep 2017 in Hebei University affiliated hospital prenatal low progesterone levels of the early stages of pregnancy,663 cases of pregnant women, and application of progesterone therapy,424 cases of pregnant women as a group, not the application of progesterone,239 cases of pregnant women for the same period as the control group. In the observation group, there were 185 cases of oral administration and 239 cases of myoinjection group(including 106 small dose groups,46 cases of medium dose group and 87 cases of large dose group). The incidence of GDM among groups was compared..Result: The incidence of GDM in the observation group(33.02%)was greater than that of the control group(18.23%),and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The incidence of GDM in oral group(24.87%)was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).The incidence of GDM in oral group was less than that of intramuscular injection group, and the difference was statistically significant. The incidence of GDM in intramuscular injection group(39.33%)was greater than that in the control group(P < 0.05).The incidence of GDM in the small dose group of myogroup(29.25%)was smaller than that in the medium dose group(41.30%)(P < 0.05)and the large dose group(50.58%)(P < 0.05).The incidence of GDM in the intramuscular injection group was less than that in the high-dose group(P < 0.05).Conclusions: Oral administration of progesterone in early pregnancy had no significant effect on the incidence of GDM.Early application of progesterone in the treatment of muscle injection increased the incidence of GDM,and the greater the total dose, the higher the incidence of GDM.
