Objectives 1 To investigate and analysis of nutritional status of COPD(Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)patients.2 To investigate the effect of nutritional behavior on QOL(quality of life)in patients with COPD Methods From October 2016 to October 2017,4 to 6 weeks after hospitalization in the respiratory medicine department of the North China University of Science and Technology Affiliated Hospital,404 COPD patients with stable condition were selected as the subjects.Questionnaire survey was used to investigate the nutritional behavior and QOL of patients with COPD.At the same time, the general demographic data, disease data, and other data were used to investigate the factors affecting nutritional behavior.Data were analysised by SPSS17.0 statistic software.Univariate and binary logistic regression analysis were used to analyze factors affecting the nutritional behavior of patients.Spearman correlation analysis and multiple linear regression were used to analyze the effect of nutritional behavior on quality of life of patients. Results 1 The highest score of nutrition behavior in COPD patients was 26 points, and the lowest score was 5 points.Using quartiles(P25,P50,P75)means(13.0,16.0,19.0).The best nutritionists accounted for 34.4%.2 Univariate analysis showed: The nutritional behaviors of COPD patients had statistically significant differences in terms of age, living style, place of residence, monthly income, education, disease duration, degree of illness, nutrition knowledge, and individual coping, family and friends resource utilization, health education satisfaction(P<0.05).While Gender, marital status, occupation type, combined chronic disease and numbers of hospitalization, and community health resource utilization had no effect on the nutritional behaviors of COPD patients(All P>0.05).3 The results of multivariate binary logistic regression analysis showed that living style, education level, monthly income, disease duration, disease severity, individual coping, nutrition knowledge, family and friends resource utilization, health education satisfaction were the influencing factors of nutritional behavior in patients with COPD(All P<0.05).4 The QOL of COPD patients ranged from 5 to 37 with an average of 20.91±7.237 points.5 The correlation analysis showed that the nutritional behavior of patients with COPD was negatively correlated with the QOL(P<0.05,r=-0.516).6 Multivariate linear regression analysis further showed that the nutritional behavior level of COPD patients was an important factor influencing the quality of life(P<0.05).In this study it explained 8.3% of the total variation in QOL.Conclusions 1 The patients with COPD who had better nutrition behavior accounts for 34.4%.living style, education level, monthly income, disease duration, disease severity, individual coping, nutrition knowledge, family and friends resource utilization, health education satisfaction are the influencing factors of nutritional behavior in patients with COPD.2 Nutritional behavior of COPD patients is the influencing factor of quality of life. There is a negative correlation between nutritional behavior and QOL scores in COPD patients. The better the nutritional behavior of patients, the better the QOL.
