Objective: 1.To understand the incidence of childhood trauma and the occurrence of common trauma in two middle school students in Changsha.2.To explore the influencing factors of childhood trauma and the influence of childhood trauma on adolescents’ emotion and neurocognitive functions,to provide a theoretical basis for the early formulation of effective interventions. Methods: Selecting 1,045 students from 2 secondary schools in the suburbs of Kaifu District,Changsha, the selected students completed the general situation questionnaire, early year separation questionnaire, childhood trauma questionnaire, children’s depression inventory,state-trait anxiety inventory form.According to the criteria for severe trauma exposure in the CTQ scale,174 adolescents had childhood traumatic experience,60 adolescents were included in the trauma group and 60 age,gender,education-matched controls without childhood trauma were recruited, the 120 adolescents were evaluated with the wechsler memory scale and the children’s wechsler intelligence scale.SPSS19.0 statistical package was used for statistical analysis of the collected data. Results: 1.Among the 1045 adolescents surveyed,174 adolescents had childhood traumatic experiences, accounting for 18.29% of the total surveyed population, the incidence of emotional abuse was 6.83%,the incidence of physical abuse was 3.99%,the incidence of sexual abuse was 3.15,the incidence of emotional neglect was 9.25%,and the highest rate of physical neglect was 10.60%.The type and prevalence of childhood trauma did not differ in gender.2.There was a statistically significant difference in the distribution of negative effects of childhood traumatic questionnaire scores and single-parent families(P<0.05),however,there was no difference in the distribution of staged separation and separation duration in early years.3.Adolescents in childhood trauma group had more depression and anxiety, the scores of correlation scales were significantly higher than those of non-invasive ones(P<0.05).Among 5 types of trauma, emotional abuse, emotional neglect, sexual abuse and physical neglect have predictive effects on adolescent anxiety, emotional abuse, emotional neglect and physical neglect have predictive effects on adolescents’ depression.4.Children in the traumatic group visually reproduced(immediate, delayed),understood memory(immediate, delayed)scores in the Wechsler Memory Scale, and the children’s Wechsler Intelligence Scale scored the total IQ,subscale knowledge, classification, wood block diagram, the scores of digital codes were lower in adolescents than those in the non-invasive group(P<0.05).In the five types of trauma, emotional neglect has a predictive effect on the impairment of understanding memory(delay). Conclusion: 1.Among the young people we surveyed, there was a higher incidence of childhood trauma, the highest incidence of physical neglect, and no difference in the incidence of childhood trauma and the type of trauma.2.The occurrence of childhood trauma is related to the negative impact of early separation and single-parent families.3.Childhood trauma can have a negative impact on adolescents’ depression and anxiety.4.Childhood trauma can lead to impaired neurocognitive function such as memory function, overall intelligence, and information processing speed in adolescents.Emotional neglect has a predictive effect on the impairment of short-term memory.
