Objective and significanceAt present, the common surgical methods for the treatment of breast cysts are breast tumor resection and minimally invasive rotation incision, but the resection of the tumor can cause excessive trauma, while minimally invasive surgery has a high cost, although it has a small incision. Therefore, laser closure is used in the surgical treatment of breast cysts, which is called the laser closure of breast cysts guided by ultrasound in order to solve the above problems. At present,it has been widely used in clinical practice, and has achieved certain therapeutic effect, and the operation is simple and the equipment requirements are not high. However, the safety, effectiveness, aesthetic effect and cost of this operation have not been reported at home and abroad. If it is to be popularized,it is still necessary to further discuss it.Research methodsA total of 108 patients with breast cysts underwent surgery at Zhujiang Hospital,Southern Medical University, were collected from 2010.1-2018.2.A retrospective, non randomized controlled study was performed in 33 cases of breast cysts of this study and 38 cases of breast tumor resection and 35 patients receiving breast tumor minimally invasive rotation. The observation indexes include the general situation of the patients with three kinds of operation, the disease of the breast, the cost of hospitalization and the difference of the clinical efficacy and safety of the three kinds of operation. The other observation indexes have the effect of the number and position of different mammary cysts on the curative effect of laser closure.ResultsIn a total of 108 patients with breast cysts,33 patients with laser closure were treated with an effective rate of 87.88%,38 with a tumor resection rate of 92.11%,and 82.86%(P=0.011)in the 35 cases of minimally invasive circumcision. For the duration of operation, laser closure was performed at a median length of time(P<0.001).There were differences in the incidence of complications between the three operative methods. The incidence of complications of laser closure was the lowest(P=0.028).The average length of hospital stay was 2 days after laser closure and minimally invasive surgery. The average length of stay after resection was more than 4 days(P<0.001).The number of cysts in group A was the best, and the patients in group C were the worst(P=0.036).In the patients with different cysts, the total effective rate of the cysts in the central area was the highest, reaching 100%,and the total effective rate of the patients in the breast quadrant cyst was the lowest(71.43%),and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.006).Laser closure is less invasive than minimally invasive surgery, and the average hospitalization cost is lower than that of the latter(P<0.001).ConclusionLaser closure surgery, compared with tumor resection and minimally invasive rotation,showed:(1)laser closure was safe, less complications, shorter hospitalization time, but the operation was not dominant;(2)the surgical trauma was small, the cosmetic effect was good, and the cost of hospitalization was less than that of micro invasive surgery;(3)a wide range of application. The therapeutic effect of single breast cysts and breast cysts in the central area is the most significant, but the treatment effect of the multiple breast cysts and the internal quadrant breast cysts should be improved.Other related data collection due to puncture drainage combined with sclerosing agent is not comprehensive and can not be compared with laser closure;the results of cysts aspiration cytology, the recurrence rate of breast cysts, less total sample size or insufficient reexamination of data need further study.
