OBJECTIVE:To retrospectively analyze the influencing factors and the main causes of in-hospital mortalityl after PCI.Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 3776 patients after PCI in the Cardiovascular Center of the First Hospital of Jilin University From January 2017 to December 2017.There were 63 deaths during the hospital period, including 36 males and 27 females. From the 1:2 random stratification case,126 patients were randomly selected as a control group,84 males and 42 females.Analysis and comparison of two groups basic on the clinical data and related interventional data. Results:This study showed that themortality in hospital after PCI from January 2017 to December 2017 was 1.67%.The causes of death included cardiac death in 58 cases(92.06%)and non-cardiac death in 5 cases(7.94%).Among the central deaths, pump failure, malignant arrhythmia, and heart rupture accounted for 63.79%,13.79%,and22.41%.Single factor analysis of clinical data showed that there was a statistically significant difference in patients' age, left ventricular ejection fraction, number of diseased vessels, blood flow status before and after related vascular surgery and preoperative cardiac arrest(p<0.05).Logistic multiple regression analysis showed that age, left ventricular ejection fraction, blood flow status before related vascular surgery, and preoperative cardiac arrest were independent influencing factors for postoperative death.Older age, lower left ventricular ejection fraction, and poor vascular blood flow result in increased mortality;patients with cardiac arrest before surgery have a higher risk of death than other patients.Among patients with cardiac death, pump failure was the most common.Logistic multiple regression analysis showed that left ventricular ejection fraction was independent influencing factors ofpostoperative pump failure.CONCLUSIONS:Age,left ventricular ejection fraction, preoperative blood flow status, and preoperative cardiac arrest were independent risk factors for hospital deaths after PCI;Cardiogenic death is the main cause of death in hospital after PCI,and pump failure is the most common.
