Objective To investigate the relationship between plasma B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP)levels and LVEF.LVEDD in patients with acute anterior myocardial infarction(AAMI),and to observe the relationship between BNP levels The prognosis of the patient within 3 months. Methods 100 patients with AAMI were treated with primary percutaneous coronary intervention(p-PCI)within 90 min of onset. The BNPlevel was measured on admission.Based on the BNP level, all patients were divided into four groups(according to the 4 percentile):grouPA(BNP?P25:BNP?61.59pg/mL),group B(P26?BNP?P50:61.60?154.10pg/mL)group C(P514BNP?P75:154.11?530.78pg/mL)and group D(BNP?P76:BNP?530.79pg/mL).The relationship of BNP level with LVEF and LVEDD were analyzed. The major adverse cardiac events(MACE)occurred within 3 months were also analyzed. Results The difference of LVEF and LVEDD level among different groups were statistical significant(P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between BNP level and LVEDD(r = 0.323,P = 0.001),and negatively correlated with LVEF(r =-0.350,P<0.001),With the increase of plasma BNP level, the recent clinical cardiovascular events were significantly increased(P<0.05).Conclusion Plasma BNP levels can reflect the changes of cardiac function in patients with acute anterior myocardial infarction and provide reliable information for the evaluation of prognosis. |
