Objective: To investigate the effect of concurrent chemoradiotherapy and radiotherapy alone on the prognosis of stage I b-II a postoperative cervical cancer patients with only intermediate-risk factors. Methods: Retrospectively analyze survival data of 219 stage I b-II a postoperative cervical cancer patients with only intermediate-risk factors(including tumor size, infiltration of lymphatic vessels, depth of interstitial infiltration of the cervix, conforming to Sedlis standard),in the Tumor Hospital Affiliated to Xinjiang Medical University from January 2010 to December 2014,and divide into three groups that chemoradiotherapy group(CRT,105 cases),radiotherapy group(RT,52 cases)and no further treatment group(NFT,62 cases),and observe the prognosis. The survival rate of the three groups was compared with the Kaplan-Meier method. The factors affecting the prognosis of the patients were analyzed by log-rank test, and the Cox stepwise regression method was used for multiple factor analysis. Results: Single factor and multiple factor Cox regression analysis of age, mode of operation,FIGO staging, degree of differentiation, degree of differentiation, tumor size, infiltration of lymphatic space, depth of interstitial infiltration, depth of interstitial infiltration, and treatment after operation showed that the different treatment methods was the only risk factor of progression free survival in stage I b-II a postoperative cervical cancer patients with only intermediate-risk factors.3 year disease free survival were respectively 95.5%,91.3% and 87.9% in CRT,RT and NFT(P=0.016),however,there was no significant effect on overall survival(P=0.678).The recurrence rate of pelvic cavity in CRT,RT and NFT were 1.9%,3.8% and 9.7%,and the distant metastasis rates were 1.9%,7.7% and 8.1%,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in CRT group was higher than that in RT group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Different treatment methods are the independent risk factor that affect the 3 year survival rate of stage I b-II a postoperative cervical cancer patients with only intermediate-risk factors.Chemoradiotherapy can significantly improve 3 year disease free survival rate, lower the pelvic recurrence rate and distant metastasis rate, which is superior to radiotherapy. The incidence of adverse reactions is higher than chemoradiotherapy, and can be improved after symptomatic treatment.
