purpose:The aim of this study is to investigate the correlation between EEG and cerebral blood flow and the relationship between neuron activation and cerebral blood flow changes in normal adults. Methods: 24 healthy right-handedness subjects with the same educational level(undergraduate or above)were recruited. The subjects were monitored dynamically by neural monitor during performing the task of image recognition. The cerebral blood flow of MCA and frequency of EEG from bilateral frontal lobe, temporal lobe, parietal lobe, and parietal lobe were obtained. The mean of frequency of EEG in all brain regions and the mean of MFV of the middle Cerebral of the bilateral were calculated by Excel. Then, the relative trend maps were made. The changes of EEG frequency and mean cerebral blood flow velocity were analyzed.Results:1.The trend map of MCA-MFV showed that MFV of bilateral MCA had a significant upward trend and significantly increased immediately during the task of image recognition, compared with that of rest phase. The ascending period lasted about 16 s and gradually stabilized. After the stationary period lasted about 24 s,the MFV of both sides decreased gradually,MFV was restored the baseline value afrer 20 s.2.According to the percent change of blood flow velocity(p CBFV),the p CBFV of the left middle cerebral artery and the right middle cerebral artery p CBFV were 11.5 and 12.5 respectively, which indicated that The right brain could be the dominant hemisphere for image recognition.3.According to the frequency trend map of EEG in all brain regions, compared with the frequency of rest period, all leads showed an increasing trend at the beginning of the task period,in which the ascending period of lead F3 / F4 tended to be about 10 s,then gradually stabilized. After the stationary period lasted about 40 s,the frequency of both sides was restored the baseline value afrer 10 s,the change rate of frequency is 29%.Lead C3 / C4 tended to be about 8 s,then gradually stabilized. After the stationary period lasted about 44 s,the frequency of both sides was restored the baseline value afrer 8s,the change rate of frequency is 22%.Lead O1/O2 tended to about 10 s,then gradually stabilized. After the stationary period lasted about 32 s,the frequency of both sides was restored the baseline value afrer 18 s,the change rate of frequency is 29.4%.Lead T3/T4 tended to about 8s,then gradually stabilized. After the stationary period lasted about 42 s,the frequency of both sides was restored the baseline value afrer 10 s,the change rate of frequency is 21%.4.By comparing the trend map of the mean frequency of EEG in different brain regions(figure 3.6),it was found that in the task of image recognition, the change of the lead in bilateral frontal lobe and occipital lobe was more obvious than that in the parietal lobe and temporal lobe.It Describes the superior areas of the brain identified in the picture in the forehead and occipital lobes.5.The analysis of event-related electrophysiology and cerebral blood flow synchronism showed that the frequency of EEG reached the plateau stage about 6 ~ 8 seconds earlier than that of MCA-MFV,which indicated that the response time of EEG frequency in all brain regions was earlier than that of CBF,and the response rate was higher.Conclusion:1.Right handedness Han people picture recognition dominant side is right side;2.The task of image recognition in right handedness Han people first activates the functional area of occipital lobe, and frontal, parietal and temporal lobe functional areas assist to complete the task.
