Analysis Of Death Causes And Disease Burden Among Changchun Residents In 2016

Objective:Through the description of population death patterns and mortality in 2016 in Changchun City,know the current status of deaths,causes of death,and patterns of changes in Changchun City,and identify the key diseases affecting the health of residents in Changchun City at this stage.Moreover,provides a scientific basis to the adjustment of disease control strategies.comparative evaluation indicators are used to compare and analyze the main causes of death in different age groups in 2016,which comprehensively reflect the changes in the health status of residents in the area and provide important prevention and control of related diseases.The information provides scientific basis for further adjustment of work priorities and implementation of key interventions for different groups of people.Methods:Data included in this study were from the National Population Death Information Registration Management System reported by the medical and health institutions of Changchun City,Jilin Province from January 1,2016 to December 31,2016.system is based on the ?Death Cause Registration Information Network Report Management Specification and Working Technology Guide? developed by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention,and collects the ?Death Medical Certificate?,which is entered into the China Death Prevention Information System Death Cause Registration Report Information System.Calculate the death rate of the three major types of death,age-specific mortality,gender mortality,Potential Years Of Life Lost,Average Years of Life Lost,and death cause sequence,Describe the occurrence and life loss of three major diseases in changchun.Results:1.The total number of deaths in the city in 2016 was 38175,with a death rate of 497.87/100,000.The number of men died at 22,340,58.5%,and the death rate was 578.62/100,000;Female deaths of 15835 people,accounting for 41.5%,the death rate was 415.98/100,000.2.In 2016,the analysis of the mortality trend of the death of residents in the whole city was shown the mortality rate of all the residents of the whole city is increasing with age.The death toll from 0 to age group was 192,accounting for 0.5%,and the mortality rate was 431.27/100,000.The number of deaths under the age of five was 271,accounting for 0.7%,with a mortality rate of 36.63 per 100,000;The death toll in the 15-64 age group was 12,547,accounting for 32.9%,and the mortality rate was 211.61/100,000.The death toll in the age group 65 and above was 25325,or 66.3%,with a mortality rate of 3411.91/100,000.Changchun city residents aged 65 and above had the highest death rate.3.The total number of deaths in 2016 was 38,715,including the first major category of diseases(infectious,maternal and infant and nutritional deficiency diseases)of 1,628,accounting for 4.3%.The second category of diseases(chronic non-communicable diseases)was 35128,accounting for 92.0%.The third category of disease(injury)was 1125,accounting for 2.9%.The cause of death was unknown to 294 people,accounting for 0.8%.4.The top five causes of death in the city were circulatory system diseases,malignant tumors,respiratory diseases,injuries and digestive diseases,accounting for 57.60%,24.12%,2.97%,2.95% and 2.45% respectively.5.In 2016,the average life expectancy of residents in changchun city is 80.63 years,male life expectancy is 79.10 years,female life expectancy is 82.24 years,female life expectancy is higher than male,male and female life expectancy is 3.14 years.6.In 2016,the life loss caused by the total death of changchun city was 420,820 years,with an average annual decrease of 11.02 years.The total loss of life span of men was 288,859 years,with an average annual decrease of 12.93 years.The life loss caused by the total death of women was 131,961 years,with an average annual decrease of 8.33 years.7.The average number of years of life lost by men in injury is 29.76 years;the average number of years of life lost in women is up to 29.32 years.Conclusion:1.In 2016,the death rate of residents in Changchun City was higher for males than for females;the mortality rate was highest for those over 65 years of age.2.In 2016,the death rate of Changchun residents due to the second largest category of diseases was higher than the other two types of diseases.3.In 2016,the life expectancy of Changchun residents is higher than the national level.4.The life loss caused by injury is the highest among the causes of death.Governments at all levels should conduct publicity and education for key populations and high-risk occupational groups,improve their living and working environment,minimize risks and reduce the occurrence of injuries.
