Objective:To investigate the effect of subclinical hypothyroidism on type 2 diabetes microvascular complications. Methods:Totally 209 patients with T2DM from Department of Endocrinology,China-Japan union hospital of Jilin University from January 2017 to January 2018were enrolled in our study, these patient were divided into diabetes group(group DM,104 cases)and diabetes complicated with subclinical hypothyroidism(group SCH,105 cases),according to whether the patients combined with subclinical hypothyroidism. The patients'gender, age, illness course, blood pressure, body mass index(BMI),thyroid function, glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL),total cholesterol(TC),glycerin three greases(TG),fasting blood sugar(FPG),creatinine, uric acid, urinary albumin/creatinine(UAlb/Cr),and these patients also perform fundus photograph.Compared the general clinical and biochemical between the groups.According to whether the patients combined with DN and DR divided into groups, making a single factor analysis of various factors, calculating the?~2 value and the P value, using the Logistics regression analysis, calculate the impact of risk factor for DN and DR.Results:1.There were significant differences in age, sex, systolic blood pressure,TC and TSH between group SCH and group DM(P<0.05).The incidence of DN and DR in group SCH was significantly higher than that in DM,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Logistics regression analysis showed that patients with SCH,creatinine increased are the independent risk factors for DN.Patients with SCH,creatinine increased, course of disease more than 10 years are the independent risk factors for DR.Conclusion:1.The incidence of microvascular complications(DN and DR)in patients with DM combined with SCH was significantly higher than that in patients with DM.2.Subclinical hypothyroidism is a risk factor for diabetic microvascular complications(DN and DR)in patients with type 2 diabetes.
