Objective:Mental health problems are becoming more and more prominent with the rapid development of society,and mental health problems of female have also attracted more attention.This study aims to understand the general mental health status among female in Jilin province,and analyze its influence factors by a chronic disease survey in Jilin province during 2012.This study also provide certain scientific basis for improve the mental health status of the female adult residents in Jilin province.Methods:A total of 11,098 adult females were enrolled in this study,age ranging from 18to 79 years old.All of them were permanent residents of Jilin province?more than 6months?.The questionnaire survey was conducted by face-to-face interview.The survey tool was the personal health questionnaire and the GHQ-12 scale.The survey mainly includes:demographic characteristics,living habits and health status.GHQ-12scale was divided by 4 points.The score greater than 4 divided into the GHQ screening positive group,and<4 points GHQ screening negative group.In this study,EpiData3.1 software was used to input basic data and SPSS24.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Measurement data is indicated as??ąS?or M?Q?,and the quantitative data of the non-normal distribution are compared with the rank sum test;count data were expressed in frequency.The comparison of the rates among different groups was tested by the Chi-square test.The comparison of the rate of the rank count data was tested by the trend Chi-square test.The unconditional Logistic regression analysis was used in the multifactor analysis.Results:1.A total of 11098 adult women were included in this study,of which 4430 were young women,accounting for 39.9%,4470 were middle-aged women,accounting for40.3%,2198 were elderly women,accounting for 19.8%;5643 women were live in urban areas,5455 women were live in rural women.2.The psychological status of 11098 women was screened by the GHQ-12 scale.The GHQ-12 score more than 4 points for screening positive.The total positive rate of screening positive in 11098 women was 28.1%.The positive rates of screening positive for young,middle-aged and old were 27.3%,27.7%,30.5%,respectively.The rate of screening positive was higher with the increase of age.There was statistical significance??2=6.473,P=0.011?.3.The positive rate of mental health screening in adult women was related to urban and rural distribution,educational level,marital status,and per capita monthly income of the family?P<0.05?;Women who live in rural areas?32.8%?,women with primary school education?34.9%?,widowed adult women?34.9%?and women whose average monthly income of the family is less than 500 yuan had higher positive rates of psychological screening.4.The results of multi factor analysis showed that low physical frequency,irregular diet,chronic gastroenteritis,and gynecologic inflammation were the risk factors for women's mental health;enough sleep time was the women in Jilin is high,especially in elderly women.2.Among the adult women,the women who live in rural areas,with low educational level,widowed and lower per capita income of the family are high-risk groups of mental health problems.3.The influencing factors of mental health of adult women in Jilin province show age difference.On the whole,the length of the average sleep time is a protective factor for the mental health of the adult female;occasional exercise,irregular diet,chronic gastroenteritis and gynecologic inflammation are the risk factors for the mental health of adult women.4.In addition,the risk factors of young women are as follows:drinking,eating vegetarian diet,suffering from chronic bronchitis,and rheumatic arthritis.5.The cultural degree is junior high school,high school/secondary school,and higher family per capita income is the protective factor for middle age women's mental health;the risk factors of middle age women's mental health are diet salty,diabetes and coronary heart disease/myocardial infarction.6.The family per capita income?1000?is the protective factor for the mental health of the elderly women.The risk factors for the elderly women's mental health are widowhood,vegetarian diet,lack of breakfast,diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis.
