Objectives:To investigate the characteristics, distribution patterns and correlations of laboratory indicators of TCM syndromes in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA)in Xinjiang region through factor analysis, and to provide objective evidence for the differentiation of syndromes of rheumatoid arthritis. Methods: Through consulting the literature and discussing with experts,a Questionnaire for RA TCM Syndrome Questionnaire was developed.423 patients with RA in Xinjiang from the April 2017 to December 2017 inpatients and outpatients in the Rheumatology Department of the Chinese Traditional Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region were recruited and collected. The general information, activity scores,TCM syndromes, and other serological indicators such as RA,CCP,ESR,and CRP were used to establish a database and data using Excel spreadsheets. The traditional Chinese medicine was established using SPSS16.0.The syndrome analysis model was used to analyze the types of TCM syndromes in rheumatoid arthritis in Xinjiang, and analyze the correlation between DAS28,the correlation between serological markers and syndromes.Results:(1)There were 92 cases(21.75%)of males and 331 cases(78.25%)of females in 423 cases. The ratio of male to female was 1:2.7.The female incidence was significantly higher than that of males;the age range was 15 to 84 years, with an average of 55.59±13.18 years of age;duration of 0.25 to 360 months,an average of 91.45±13.1 months;(2)According to factor analysis results obtained 28 effective public factors, combined with the results of expert discussions, drawn seven basic types of syndromes, namely: cold-heat complicated syndrome,Damp heat arthralgia syndrome, cold dampness obstruction syndrome,wind-cold-dampness syndrome,Stagnation of phlegm and stasis syndrome, syndrome of deficiency of both qi and yin, deficiency of spleen and kidney.(3)Correlation analysis of sex, course of disease,age,DAS28,serological index and cold-heat complicatedsyndrome: there was no correlation between sex and cold-heat complicated syndrome(r value:-0.03,P>0.05);the weak correlation between age and cold-heat complicated syndrome(r value: 0.11,P<0.05);no correlation between disease course and cold-heat complicated syndrome(r value:-0.09,P=0.05);DAS28 and cold-heat complicated syndrome The weak correlation(r value: 0.16,P<0.01);the weak correlation between CRP and cold-heat complicated syndrome(R: 0.12,P<0.05);there was no correlation between RF and cold-heat complicated syndrome(r value: 0.07,P>0.05),and the weak correlation between ESR and cold-heat complicated syndrome(r value: 0.14,P<0.05).Conclusion:Through factor analysis and expert demonstration,7 basic syndromes were obtained, which were cold-heat complicated syndrome,Damp heat arthralgia syndrome, cold dampness obstruction syndrome,wind-cold-dampness syndrome,Stagnation of phlegm and stasis syndrome, syndrome of deficiency of both qi and yin, deficiency of spleen and kidney, and the most common syndrome was cold-heat complicated syndrome.Correlation analysis: it revealed that there was no correlation between sex, course of disease,RF and cold-heat complicated syndrome, and there was a positive correlation between age,DAS28,ESR,CRP and cold-heat complicated syndrome.
