Objective:The metabolic syndrome(Met S)is now considered a major public health problem,in recent years, research has found that fat tissue can synthesis, produce and secrete bioactive molecules,is a kind of endocrine organs.Increasingly, studies have shown that epicardial fat--the special fat around the heart--plays an independent role in the development and development of obesity-related cardiovascular events. The purpose of this research is to study the metabolic syndrome characteristics of epicardial fat,EAT and other obesity related parameters, such as WC,body mass index(BMI),the relationship between body fat,to further explore the risk factors in patients with metabolic syndrome.Method:60 patients with metabolic syndrome in endocrinology department of our hospital were selected as the experimental group, and 80 patients with health examination in the same period were selected as the control group.Height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference and blood pressure were measured, blood glucose, triglycerides, glycosylated hemoglobin, and LDL were measured.Philips Sonos 5500 ultrasonic diagnostic instrument, probe frequency 2 ~ 4 MHz.The EAT thickness of 10 cardiac cycles was measured and the mean value was taken.Using SPSS 21.0 software for statistical analysis to conform to the normal distribution of measurement data with average add and subtract the standard deviation(),said the group of comparison difference between using t test, counting data use cases or percentage [n(%)],said the differences between the groups compared by chi-square test, the influence of different factors on the MS using multivariate stepwise Logistic regression analysis,P < 0.05 was statistically significant. Results:there was no significant difference in gender and age between the two groups, with no statistical significance(P>0.05).MS group of waist circumference, waist hip ratio, body mass index(bmi),fasting glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, hypertensionprevalence, triglycerides, body fat content, low density lipoprotein cholesterol(hdl-c),EAT were significantly higher than that of control group, difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2)patients with metabolic syndrome were divided into 40 patients in the EAT>5.28 mm group and 20 patients in the EAT<5.28 mm group as the normal value. There was no statistically significant difference in sex, age, prevalence of hypertension, fasting blood glucose, and glycosylated hemoglobin between the high-eat group and the low-eat group(P>0.05).Waist circumference,waist-to-hip ratio, body mass index, triglycerides, body fat content and low-density lipoprotein in the high-eat group were significantly higher than those in the low-eat group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant.3)non-conditional Logistic multivariate regression analysis was conducted on the occurrence factors of MS,indicating that waist circumference, body mass index, triglycerides and body fat content, and EAT were all risk factors for MS.Conclusion:1.The cardiac adipose tissue of patients with metabolic syndrome increased compared with the normal population, which can be used as one of the collaborative diagnosis methods for MS patients.2.Epicardial fat is related to body fat content, suggesting that EAT may be closely related to cardiac obesity and lipid metabolism disorder. It should be noted in clinical practice that patients with such characteristics need early intervention.3.EAT is a risk factor for metabolic syndrome, and ultrasonic measurement of EAT is simple and economical, which can be widely used in the evaluation of metabolic syndrome.
