Objective: To study the effect of percutaneous minimally invasive incision combined with PRP treatment for acute Achilles tendon rupture. Methods: Retrospectively evaluated the clinical efficacy of 15 patients of acute closed achilles tendon ruptures which are from June 2016 to January 2018,treated by percutaneous minimally invasive incision combined with PRP.They were 13 males and 2 females, with an average age of 32.5 years old(ranged,24 to 42 years old),of left 11 cases, right 4 cases. The interval between injury and operation ranged from 3hours to 2days(13hours on average). The fracture position of them were spread at the proximal 2-6cm of the Achilles tendon. All patients were treated with percutaneous minimally invasive incision with PRP by the same surgeon, all of them began to functional exercise actively at the second day after operation, exercise with part weight to complete weight 4-6 weeks later,8weeks later began to calf raise.Followed up the complications and the range of ankle joint activity. To assess the function by AOFAS and ATRS.Statistical methods: all data in this experiment were expressed by averages and standard deviation. The statistical analysis of data was performed by SPSS analysis software 22(SPSS company).Postoperative pain, function and force line were compared by paired T-test,P<O.05 was statistically significant. Results: All patients were followed up for 4-18 months(an average of 14 months). The wounds healed at the first stage, there were no incision related complications?sural nerve injury and re-rupture;The ankle joint activity on the injured side and the normal side had no significant difference.the average AOFAS was 99.6 points,14 cases were excellent,1 cases were good, the excellent and good rate was 100%;and the average ATRS score was 96.9 after the last follow-up.Conclusions: The surgical treatment of acute achilles tendon rupture with percutaneous minimally invasive incision combine with PRP repair has advantages of simple, reliable, peritendon blood supply of small injury, less adhesion and fewer complications, quick function recovery, completely avoid sural nerve injury and re-rupture,so it is suitable for hospital.
