| ObjectiveTo study the concentration of S100βprotein in patients with acute anterior circulation infarction early onset(within 24 hours),and calculate the infarct volume of corresponding brain MRI-DWI.To investigate the correlation between the severity of acute anterior circulation infarction and initial levels of S100β protein.The clinical value of the initial evaluation of S100β protein concentration in patients with acute anterior circulation infarction condition assessment.To determine whether S100β protein is the sensitive index for diagnosis of acute cerebral infarction,whether the concentration of S100β protein in the blood can reflect the severity of the disease.Methods1.There were 80 patients with acute anterior circulation infarction group,their gender,age,history of hypertension,diabetes history,history of drinking,smoking history were recorded.Blood of patients with acute anterior circulation infarction symptoms within 24 hours of were collected.Initial S100βlevels were detected by Colloidal gold immunochromatography.Patients within 24 hours of onset of the brain MRI DWI infarct volume calculated at this time.Calculated admission in patients with initial S100β levels and brain MRI-DWI sequence infarct volume rank correlation coefficient R,observe whether there is a correlation between the two.To determine whether the concentration of S100β protein in the blood can reflect the severity of the disease.2.The control group of 30 cases,they were Yanshi City People’s hospital physical examination center healthy people.Compared with infarction group,their gender,age,history of hypertension,diabetes history,history of drinking,smoking history、Blood glucose,Blood lipid(TG,TC),blood pressure(SBP,DBP)were no significant difference(P>0.05).S100β proteinconcentration in the blood of 30 cases was measured by the same methd,to determine whether there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in the concentration of S100βprotein in the blood,whether S100β protein is the sensitive index for diagnosis of acute cerebral infarction.Result1.In the 80 cases with acute anterior circulation infarction,the infarct size was divided into 3 groups:large,medium and small:less than 5 cm3(small infarction group),between~10 cm3(medium infarction group),greater than 10 cm3(large infarction group)the small volume of infarction group consist of 65 cases,accounting for 81.25%,the medium volume of infarction group consist of 8 cases,accounting for 10%,the large volume of infarction group consist of 7 cases,accounting for 8.75%;2.In cerebral infarction patients,the compare of the small volume of infarction group,medium volume of infarction group and large volume of infarction group state that difference is significant(P<0.05).The initial S100β contents and brain MRI DWI calculated infarct volume was highly correlated(R2=0.6214)With the increasing of infarct volume,S100β protein contents increase significantly.3.S100β protein contents in cerebral infarction group were significantly higher than that in the control group(0.32±0.07ng/mL vs 0.14±0.03ng/mL),the compare of S100βprotein content between the two groups showed statistically significant(P<0.05);Conclusion1.The concentration of S100β proteinin patients with acute anterior circulation infarction were significantly higher than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.The concentration of S100β protein in the blood of patients with acute anterior circulation infarction was positively correlated with the volume of cerebral infarction calculated by DWI images,With increasing infarct volume,S100β protein content increased accordingly.The concentration of S100β protein in the blood can be used to assist the diagnosis of acute cerebral infarction,and the severity of S100βprotein concentration can reflect the severity of the disease. |
