Objective: To observe the clinical effects of the Upper Limb Exoskeleton Rehabilitation Robot on restoration of stiff elbow joint after fracture.Determine the Upper Limb Exoskeleton Rehabilitation Robot in promoting the treatment of elbow joint function rehabilitation efficacy.Methods: From January,2017 to December,2017,eighty patients who had elbow stiffness caused by fracture were randomly allocated to the Robot group of 40 cases and the JAS group of 40 cases.Two group were treated with physical factors?joint mobilization?exercise therapy.On this basis,the Robot group were treated with Upper Limb Exoskeleton Rehabilitation Robot,the JAS group were treated with static progressive stretch(Joint Active System).Patients in two groups were treated with 120 min each time,2 times a day,and 5 days a week.HSS elbow score ?elbow active range of motion(AROM)?Activity of Daily Living score(ADL)and visual analogue scale score(VAS)were evaluated of two groups after 8 weeks of rehabilitation treatment.Results:A total of 65 patients were counted,there were 34 cases in the Robot group and 31 in the JAS group.1.The HSS score in Robot group from(45.97±16.24)before treatment up to(86.00±12.50)after 8 weeks treatment,while that in JAS group ranges from(42.71±14.15)to(70.16±12.14).There is significant difference before and after treatment,and between groups at the end of treatment(P<0.05).2.The Robot group of elbow extension angle ?flexion angle?pronation angle?supination angle from the treatment before the(50.56±29.85)° ?(99.44±28.07)° ?(48.21±14.19)° ?(47.44±14.24)°,rising to(7.91±8.75)° ?(128.71±11.70)° ?(80.47±7.34)° ?(78.74±7.12)°;The JAS group ranges from(44.77±24.75)° ?(92.10±27.96)°?(47.13±14.97)°?(48.13±14.14)°?to(13.45±12.10)°?(115.19±18.10)°?(79.58±7.21)°?(76.45±8.98)°.There is significant difference before and after treatment,and elbow extension angle?flexion angle of,Robot group were significantly better than JAS group(P<0.05),but pronation angle?supination angle in two groups have no significantly difference(P >0.05).3.The ADL score in Robot group from(79.41±8.60)before treatment up to(95.29±4.07)after 8 weeks treatment,while that in JAS group ranges from(77.10±7.72)to(91.13±4.42).There is significant difference before and after treatment,and between groups at the end of treatment(P<0.05).4.The VAS score in Robot group down from(2.44±1.31)before treatment to(1.21±0.91)after 8 weeks treatment,while that in JAS group ranges from(2.61±1.20)to(1.81±0.83).There is significant difference before and after treatment,and between groups at the end of treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion: The Upper Limb Exoskeleton Rehabilitation Robot combined with comprehensive rehabilitation had significant promoting effect for patients with elbow stiffness after elbow fracture surgery,which could recover elbow function better.
