Objective:1.To explore the demand status of remote nursing in glaucoma patients, and provide references for the part of intervention implementation.2.To establish a remote nursing intervention program for glaucoma patients and apply it in glaucoma patients at home.Testify the effect of remote nursing intervention on intraocular pressure, subjective well-being and quality of life in patients with glaucoma. Methods:This research was divided into two parts with the following methods:The first part was cross-sectional study.Through a convenient sampling,a questionnaire survey was conducted on glaucoma patients discharged from 3 hospitals, which are the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology, the Luoyang Central Hospital Affiliated to the Zhengzhou University, and the 150 Hospital of the PLA.The questionnaires included general information questionnaire and "remote nursing service needs questionnaire for glaucoma patients".The second part was quasi-experimental study. The glaucoma patients discharged from ophthalmology ward of the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology were randomly divided into the experimental group(46 cases)and the control group(45 cases). The two groups received the same routine nursing during hospitalization.Routine discharge guidance was given to patients in control group.Remote nursing intervention was given to patients in test group.Through WeChat push, telephone follow-up,WeChat group centralized communication, communication and feedback with patients every week for three months.Patients were investigated by intraocular pressure(IOP),"Memorial University of Newfoundland happiness measure" and "visual function related quality of life scale" before and after intervention between test group and control group, which used to compare the difference of intraocular pressure, subjective well-being and quality of life and judge the effect of remote nursing intervention.Statistical analysis was performed by IBM SPSS Statistics 21 software. The general data were described by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation.T-test,Single factor analysis of variance and Multiple comparisons analysis of SNK were used to analyze the related factors.Chi-square test and Fisher exact probability were used to analyze the difference in general data composition between test group and control group.Covariance analysis was used to compare the differences of intraocular pressure, subjective well-being and quality of life between the two groups. The test level is ?=0.05.Results:1 The results of the cross-sectional study show that:The scores((?)±s)of the remote nursing service needs of the glaucoma patients were showed as follows. The composite score was(9.17±1.34),the score of medical rehabilitation service(2.41±0.36)was the highest in the four aspects, while the score of the environmental reform service(2.12±0.50)was the lowest.2 Intervention study and covariance analysis showed that:2.1 There were significant differences from the scores of intraocular pressure(left eye and right eye)between test group and control group(P<0.05),and the experimental group was lower than that of the control group.2.2 The scores of glaucoma patients were compared with the score of MUNSH,positive emotion(PA),positive experience(PE),negative emotion(NA)and negative experience(NE).The difference was statistically significant between test group and control group(P<0.05).The total score of MUNSH,positive emotion(PA)and positive experience(PE)in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, while negative emotion(NA)and negative experience(NE)were lower compared with control group.2.3 It was analyzed in glaucoma patients between test group and control group that contained visual function related quality of life scale(NEI-VFQ-25)overall comprehensive score and overall health(GH),overall vision(GV),eyeball pain(OP),near vision(NA),far vision(DA),social function(SF),mental health(MH),peripheral vision(PV),which were higher in the test group than the control group. There was no significant difference in the scores of the 4 dimensions of role difficulty(RD),dependency(DEP),driving(DRI)and color vision(CV)(P > 0.05).Conclusion: 1.The demand for remote nursing service in glaucoma patients is maintained in a high level.2.Remote nursing intervention could reduce intraocular pressure in home glaucoma patients.3.Remote nursing intervention could improve subjective well-being in home glaucoma patients.4.Remote nursing intervention could improve the quality of life related to visual function in home glaucoma patients, and the overall vision and eyeball pain dimensions are significantly improved.5.Remote nursing intervention plays a supporting role in the treatment and prognosis of glaucoma.
