| Objective:The objective of this study is to investigate the status and the influence factors of post-traumatic growth(PTG)of maintenance hemodialysis patients,and then to provide references for intervention measures.Methods:The study randomly investigated 222 cases of maintenance hemodialysis patients who meet inclusion criteria during January to December 2017 in one hospital of Hunan Province.The patients were surveyed using the General Information Questionnaire,the Clinical Information Questionnaire,the Post-Traumatic Growth Inventory,the Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire,the Perceived Social Support Scale and the Chinese Event Related Rumination Inventory.The data were inputted into Excel and analyzed by SPSS 19.0 package.Statistical methods include descriptive statistics analysis,variance analysis,t-Test,correlation analysis,and multiple linear stepwise regression analysis etc.Results:1.The level of PTG of maintenance hemodialysis patients is 49.99±12.974.The rank of each dimension from high to low is as follows:Life Feeling(16.82±4.780),Personal Strength(9.13±2.452),Self-Transformation(8.80±3.376),Relating with Others(8.49±2.549),New Possibilities(6.76±3.115).2.There are significant statistical differences(P<0.05)for post-traumatic growth scores of maintenance hemodialysis patients with different religious belief,family residence,marital status,per monthly income of family,education level,dialysis frequency,cumulative dialysis times,familiar degree of disease by self-sense.3.PTG and its each dimension of maintenance hemodialysis patients show positive correlation with perceived social support,support from and out from family,and display negative correlation with intrusive rumination except for the dimension of relating with others.They also demonstrate positive correlation with the confrontment and escape dimension in the medical coping modes,and show negative correlation with the dimension of surrender in the medical coping modes.4.Multivariate linear stepwise regression analysis displays that the rank of influence factors of PTG of maintenance hemodialysis patients from high to low is as follows:confrontment in the medical coping modes(X11-1),intrusive rumination(X10-1),deliberate rumination(X10-2),religious belief(X5),family support(X9-1),familiar degree of disease by self-sense(X8),marital status(X2),cumulative dialysis times(X7).The stepwise regression equation is:Y=-10.757-3.855X2+1.222X11-1+3.357X8+7.688X5-0.457X10-1+0.580X10-2+0.893X99-1.324X7(F=19.758,P=0.000,and R2=0.483).Conclusions:1.The level of PTG of maintenance hemodialysis patients is 49.99±12.974,which is a moderate level and can further improve.2.Family support,confrontment dimension in the medical coping modes,religious belief,cumulative dialysis times,familiar degree of disease by self-sense,rumination,and marital status are the major influence factor for PTG of maintenance hemodialysis patients. |
