Objective:To explore the clinical effect and safety analysis of laparoscopy in the treatment of pediatric indirect inguinal hernia(PIH).Methods: in our hospital from December 2015 to December 2016 were 128 cases of PIH as the research object, divided into observation group and control group, control group were given the traditional surgical treatment, the observation group with laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of 2 groups of patients with therapeutic effect and complications were observed. Results: the observation group in the operation time(min),independent activity time(h),incision size(cm)and hospitalization time(d)were shorter than the control group, the difference has statistical significance(P <0.05).The related complications(scrotal swelling, scrotal hematoma, abdominal distension, testicular ectopic, secondary hydrocele, hernia recurrence, testicular atrophy)were also compared, after treatment, laparoscopic group were cured 62 cases(96.88%),complication in 2 cases(3.13%);traditional surgery group were cured 57 cases(89.06%),complication in 7 cases(10.94%);the effect of the observation group was significantly better than the control group with significant difference(P <0.05).Conclusion: laparoscopic surgery for PIH has less trauma, quicker physical recovery and fewer complications, which is superior to traditional surgery.
