Characteristics Of Prescriptions And Medication On Treating Blood Syndrome In Yixue Zhongzhong Canxilu

This paper summarized the understanding of blood syndrome in Yixue Zhongzhong Canxi Lu and modern TCM.And the second part compared the similarities and differences about Zhang Xichun's academic thought of treating blood syndrome with Zhang Zhongjing,Zhang Jingyue,Miao Xiyong,Tang Rongchuan and Huang Yuanyu.This thesis is based on the study of blood syndrome prescriptions in Yixue Zhongzhong Canxi Lu,and it explores the work of Dr Zhang Xichun,a famous Chinese physician from the Chung Hwa Republic period in China who developed 52 prescriptions for treating blood syndrome.This thesis also reviews many research literature about Zhang Xichun's blood syndrome prescriptions published in the last 20 years.Through the study of Zhang Xichun's blood syndrome prescriptions,research conclusions were obtained as follow:1.Zhang Xichun classified blood syndrome:upper bleeding and lower bleeding.Upper bleeding,which is spitting blood and hemoptysis;Lower bleeding,which is hematuria and hematochezia.2.Zhang Xichun thought that the etiology and pathogenesis of blood syndrome mainly include exogenous evils,emotions,diet,overstrain,chronic disease and other factors.3.The characteristics of formulating prescription about Zhang Xichun include:orderly ordering of sovereign and minister,mutual causality between ascending and descending,focusing on medicinal property,skillful use of pair-drug,special medicine for special disease,skillful use of crude drug,stress on preparation and paying attention to methods of taking drugs.4.Zhang Xichun's administration of medicine has many features:Zhang Xichun's treatment of blood syndrome focuses on invigorating qi;Recuperation and hemostasis with herbs warm or cold in property;Bringing adverse qi downward to stop bleeding;Zhang Xichun used three methods of clearing heat to treat blood syndrome;Zhang Xichun used sanchi to resolve stasis and stop bleeding;5.Zhang Xichun's commonly used pair-drug for treating blood syndrome included:Chinese yam and root of herbaceous peony,hematite and root of herbaceous peony,radix rehmanniae recen and hematite,fructus corni and dragon bone,dragon bone and oyster,bulbus fritillariae cirrhosae and radix glehniae,largehead atractylodes rhizome and dried ginger,radix glehniae and blackberry lily,myrrh and olibanum,blackberry lily and radixasparagi,bulbus fritillariae cirrhosae and radix trichosanthis,bulbus fritillariae cirrhosae and blackberry lily,figwort and radix glehniae,fructus arctii and fructus trichosanthis,figwort and bulbus fritillariae cirrhosae.
