| Objective This study compared the clinical efficacy of full-arch dental implant restoration and sectional repair of fixed prosthesis for edentulous patients.Methods To respective analysis datum of 18 patients,divide into two groups according to different restorations.Group A adopt full-arch dental implant fixed prosthesis and Group B adopt sectional repair of fixed prosthesis.1 year follow-up after restoration was made through implant survival rate?prosthesis survival rates ?marginal bone loss ?periodontal probing depth?modified plague index?modified sulcus bleeding index and satisfaction of the patients.Results The implant survival rates?prosthesis survival rates and marginal bone loss shows no statistical significance(P>0.05).The periodontal probing depth ? modified plague index?modified sulcus bleeding index of Group A was significantly higher than Group B(P<0.05).Conclusions The full-arch dental implant fixed prosthesis and sectional repair of fixed prosthesis both had success rate.Sectional repair of fixed prosthesis more Conveniently to clean and repair.A long-term clinical effects and the success rates remains to be seen. |
