ObjectiveThis study was conducted to collect general information of husband and wife before pregnancy and evaluate influence factors of the six kinds of adverse pregnancy outcomes including premature birth, stillbirth, spontaneous abortion, artificial abortion, ectopic pregnancy and birth defect. The aim is to reduce the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes, improve the quality of the population, and provide scientific basis for further studies.MethodsThis study relies on the project of Rural Free Health Check for pre-pregnancy couples in Jinzhai Maternal and Child Health Institute from April,2013 to December,2015.We gathered general demographic information, lifestyle, history of disease, pregnancy history and psychosocial factors.Random cluster sampling method was used to extract 2 200 electronic medical files, and 1 679 couple was finally selected.Statistical analysis software SPPS 16.0 was applied to conduct general description of adverse pregnancy, univariate chi-square analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis to explore the association between various factors and adverse pregnancy outcomes.ResultsThe total incidence rate of adverse pregnancy outcomes was 23.3%,the highest incidence rate was 14.4% for spontaneous abortion, followed by birth defect, the incidence rate was 3.9%.Univariate chi-square analysis showed the wife's age,BMI,parity,a history of chronic cervicitis, intermarriage, the husband's age, husband working pressure and econonic pressure were related to adverse pregnancy outcomes.Multivariate logistic regression analysis found that increased parity,a history of chronic cervicitis and intermarriage will increase the risk of adverse pregnancy(P<0.05).In addition, logistic regression analysis on influencing factors of adverse pregnancy outcomes found increased parity,a history of hypertensive disease of husband, age <30 years of the husband are the risk factors of spontaneous abortion(P<0.05),and anemia of wife is a protective factor for spontaneous abortion(P<0.05).ConclusionThe highest incidence rate in adverse outcomes was spontaneous abortion in the study.Age,parity,a history of hypertensive disease,a history of chronic cervicitis, were the risk factors of adverse pregnancy outcomes. To establish special record for pregnant women risk factors, strengthen the prenatal care and prenatal monitoring, prevention and control important risk factors and improve maternal pregnancy care knowledge have important Influence to ensure maternal and fetal health.Understanding the relevant factors of adverse pregnancy outcomes will contribute to pre-pregnancy health assessment and screening of risk factors, initiate healthy lifestyles, further improve the quality of births.
