| 1.ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of external fixator combined with Vaccum Sealing Drainage(VSD)in the treatment of open fracture with soft tissue defect.2.MethodsThe clinical data from 54 cases of patients were admitted,with open fracture and soft tissue defect including emergency treatment and transferred patients from December 2014 to December 2017.All patients were fixed by external fixator,debrided and removed necrotic tissue as soon as possible.32 cases were covered with VSD covering the wound until the wound was basically healed with VSD material cover group.The traditional Vaseline gauze,aseptic gauze covering,and bandage external fixation were used in 22 patients,and routine dressing group was given after the operation.Among 41 cases of open fracture of tibia and fibula,13 cases of femoral fracture,9 cases of foot bone fracture and 4 cases of pelvic fracture.3.ResultsVSD material covering the group of 32 patients after 1-2 times of debridement combined with VSD treatment,1 cases of patients with residual wounds healed,the healing rate of 96.9%;2 cases of patients with wound infection,the infection rate of6.3%;non amputation patients.Ordinary dressing group of 22 patients with multiple postoperative dressing,with an average of 10 times the number of dressing,5 patientswith residual wounds healed,the healing rate of 77.3%;4 patients had different degree of wound infection,the infection rate was 18.2%;2 patients with severe necrosis,amputation,the amputation rate was 9%.The curative effect of VSD material was better than that of the ordinary dressing group.4.ConclusionsUsing the VSD technique for the treatment of external fixation of open fracture with soft tissue defect,effective early wound closure,to create favorable conditions for the two stage operation to repair soft tissue defect,to shorten the wound healing and improve the healing rate of patients with reduced dressing pain has a positive effect of time. |
