Objective: To observe the determinants relating to success rate of coronary intervention treatment for patients with chronic total occlusion(CTO)lesions. Methods: A retrospective analysis of coronary angiography performed at the Department of Cardiology,Yijishan Hospital,Wannan Medical College from December 2015 to December 2017 revealed 66 patients with complete coronary artery occlusion, including 42 males(63.64%)and 24 females(36.36%)cases,aged 37-86(67.68±10.19)years old.According to the results of PCI,57 successful groups and 12 failed groups were classified. The clinical baseline data, coronary angiography and surgical data were compared between the two groups, and the factors affecting the success or failure of CTO-PCI were analyzed. Results: Sixty-six CTO patients were included in the study,69 CTO lesions were treated with PCI,57 in the successful group(54 of them had successful interventional therapy and 3 of successful reverse interventional therapy),and 12 failed groups had a success rate of 82.61 %.Total cholesterol was 3.43±0.91 mmol/L and 4.29±1.73 mmol/L in the successful group and the failure group,respectively(P=0.017).Lowdensity lipoproteins were 1.75±0.62 mmol/L in the successful group and the failure group, respectively and 2.29±1.38 mmol/L,statistically significant(P=0.040);CTO occluded ends with blunt stumps were 15(15/57,26.32%)at the PCI success group and 8(8/12,66.67%),there was a statistically significant(P=0.015);calcification lesions were 18(18/57,31.58%)and 9(9/12,75%)in the PCI success and failure groups, respectively. There was a statistically significant(P=0.008);J-CTO scores were 1.81±0.89 points and 2.92±0.67 points in the PCI success and failure groups, respectively, with statistical significance(P=0.000);and J-CTO points. The higher the success rate of surgery, the lower the negative correlation between the two. Conclusion:PCI for CTO lesions is safe and effective;blunt-tip stumps, calcified lesions, and high J-CTO scores are negative predictors of successful CTO interventions;new devices, new technologies, and surgeons The accumulation of experience is also an important factor affecting the success rate of CTO intervention.
