Ultrasonography-guided Permanent Iodine-¹²⁵ Implantation As Therapy For Superficial Carcimonas

Objective:To investigate the efficacy and clinical value of permanent implantation of ¹²⁵I radioactive particles in the treatment of superficial malignant tumors.Methods:Collected in January 2010-January 2017 in our hospital during the permanently implanted ¹²⁵I radioactive particles guided by ultrasound treatment of superficial organs and soft tissue malignant tumor patients,70 cases?96?.Among them,the primary cervical malignant neoplasm in 7 cases,malignant thyroid neoplasm in 5cases,4 cases were malignant parotid gland neoplasm and malignant neoplasm of 30cases of lymph node metastasis,hip malignant neoplasm 4 cases?1 case was primary,metastatic 3 cases?,anus week 6 cases of malignant neoplasm,metastases to the malignant chest wall in 5 cases,malignant abdominal metastases in 5 cases,4 cases of malignant neoplasm of perineum transfer.There were 42 males and 28 females,ranging in age from 33 to 83 years old,with an average age of 61 years.The length of the tumor was 0.6-12cm,with an average length of 3.64cm.In 70 patients,there were3,689 particles implanted in the lesion,and 5 to 152 were implanted in each site,all of which were successfully implanted.All patients with preoperative as malignant tumors confirmed by pathology,the particles embedded in the process,ultrasound scanning and surrounding tissue lesions area,select the best puncture path,real-time adjust the Angle of the needle,avoid important organization and large blood vessels,according to the Treatment Planning System?Treatment Planning System,the TPS?to complete the particle implantation.After 3-24 months follow-up,the pain relief,local control,postoperative complications were observed.Results:All the patients successfully completed the seed implantation and the success rate was 100%.70 patients with preoperative pain in 26 cases,2 to 7 days?median time 4days?the pain began to ease,24 complete response,6 cases without ease,the pain relief effectiveness 92.31%.Tumor local control:the postoperative 3 months of CT findings of tumor local control,a total of 70 patients,96 parts,Complete response?Complete remission,CR?20,Partial response?Partial remission,PR?64,Stable lesions?Stable diseases,SD?8,the lesion progress?Pathological diseases,PD?4,tumor local control total effective rate was 87.50%.In 7 cases of postoperative complications:70 patients 1 to 2 days of fever,temperature are lower than 39?,2cases with mild skin irritation,1 case of upper limb numbness,all no tumor has burst occurred,no particle displacement,no particles grow,no serious infection,no massive hemorrhage,pneumothorax,incidence of complications in patients with 10.42%.Conclusion:¹²⁵I radioactive example treatment curative effect is superficial organs and soft tissue malignant tumor,it can obviously reduce the patient's pain,prolong survival in patients with stage,to improve the survival rate,improve patient's quality of life,and less postoperative complications.It is a safe,convenient,convenient and effective treatment.
