Objective:Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty(UKA)is used to treat single compartment osteoarthritis of the knee.Through the imaging(X-ray)measurement after unilateral condylar replacement, the common parts and causes of the improper placement of the prosthesis were analyzed, and the improvement of the surgical method was explored. Methods:We reviewed a total of 31 patients with osteoarthritis of the knee(34 knee)underwent unicompartmental knee arthroplasty(UKA)from January 2014 to August 2016.Each patient was photographed with a positive side x of the knee before and after the operation in the follow-up.The angle of femoral prosthesis, the flexion angle of femoral prosthesis, the varus angle of tibial plateau and the inclination of tibial prosthesis were measured in the last follow-up which valued with the single condyle of the Oxford.By comparing and analyzing the measured values with the standard data of Oxford, the common parts which to be easy to mutate of the single condylar prosthesis in the image were found. The clinical effects of preoperative and final follow-up on the knee joint motion(ROM),knee joint score of New York Special Surgery Hospital(HSS),the clinical score and functional score of American Knee Association scoring system(KSS)were compared with the abnormal group(prosthetic position deviation group)and the normal group(the position of the prosthesis did not mutate). Results:It was found that the variation number and the percentage of variation of the femoral prosthesis turned angle were respectively 0 and0,the femoral prosthesis flexion angle were respectively 6 and 17.65%,the tibial plateau inverted angle were respectively 10and29.41%,and the tibial prosthesis obliquity were respectively 2and 5.88%;the percentage of variation of the flexion angle of femoral prosthesis and the tibial plateau angle were high, which were the common parts of the position deviation of single condyle prosthesis. All patients were all followed up randomly, and no adverse complications such as deep venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, prosthesis infection, subsidence, loosening and periprosthetic fracture were found. The patients of the variation group and the normal group were compared in the knee joint activity ROM,the knee joint HSS score, the KSS clinical score and the function score.P<0.05,and statistical difference exists when comparing the two groups before the operation and after the last following-up.It shows that the curative effects of the two groups were good, and the effects are obvious. There was no significant difference between the variation group and the normal group before the operation on the knee joint activity, the HSS score of the knee joint, the KSS clinical score and the function score(P>0.05).During the last following-up,there was a statistically significant difference between the variation group and the normal group in the degree of knee joint activity, the HSS score of the knee, the KSS clinical score and the function score(P<0.05).At the last following-up,the normal group was superior to the deviations group in terms of motion of the knee, the HSS score of the knee, the KSS clinical score and the functional score.Conclusion:1? unicondylar knee arthroplasty(UKA)is a good surgical option for middle-aged and elderly patients with knee single compartment osteoarthritis.2?In imaging, the location of the single condyle prosthesis is often mistaken in the femoral prosthesis flexion angle and tibial plateau varus angle, which is because of the difference of bone development and the inaccurate positioning of surgical instruments.3?The deviation of the position of the single condyle prosthesis in the range of 2 degrees has little effect on the early joint function.
