In Case Of Emotional For Parents Of Autism Children

Autistic children are often called 'Star children',because they live in their own world and can not understand anything around them.Their symptoms are often revealed,for instance,communicated disorder,stereotyped behavior,emotional indifference and abnormal performance for the surroundings.However,up to now,the reasons of autism are not clear.Most scholars believe that the onset of autism is often associated with the defect of brain or central nerve,and other scholars believe that it is related to the stimulation of physical and chemical factors or family heredity during pregnancy.However,unfortunately,the current medical technology can not find methods for absolutely curing autism.'Star children' must be taken care of by their parents in a long period,and the pressure on these parents is much more than others.In the process of taking care of autistic children,parents become the most intimate caregivers of their children,and they bear not only economic pressure,but also enormous psychological stress and unfair treatment from outside world,which are the long-term "chronic pain" to the unfortunate parents.During different stages of the autistic children's recovery,they appear various emotional problems,self remorse from the child's diagnosis,the frustration of the child's recovery from progress,and a sense of discrimination that is not acceptable for fair treatment,which often causes serious mental or psychological damage to parents.This article is based on the perspective of social work,using case intervention to explore the alleviation of emotional problems to autistic children's parents.During the internship of W autism rehabilitation agency in Dalian,the author touched many autistic children and their parents.With the help of the special teacher,the author had a further understanding and familiarity with their parents,then the interview was set up.Finally,three parents of autistic children were identified as the objects of the study.After the analysis of interviews and field visits,it is found that parents of autistic children have tremendous emotional problems in the process of long-term care,and have a obvious relationship with the stage of the child's growth and rehabilitation.Therefore,the author used the psychosocial treatment model,the dominant perspective theory and the cognitive behavior therapy mode to intervene the three case owners,and directed against the negative emotion of the parents of autistic children.From the perspective of social support,social work tried to intervene the autistic family,to provide services for autistic families,to help them through the encountered problems in life,and to give full play to their subjective initiative in order to help the caregivers'self-help.
