Aim:Investigating the relationship between antibiotic associated diarrhea and biodiversity of fungal Community.Method:BALB/C male murine were used and classified into 4 groups, blank control groups, saline groups, experimental groups and suspended groups.Experimental groups were treated with antibiotics(Cefradine and Gentamicin sulfate)for 3,5,7,14 and 21 days.Suspended groups discontinued the medicine for 7 days. Then detect the fecal fungal community with denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis. Results:Compared to control groups, the diversity of gut fungal community increased significantly in experimental groups(21.15 ± 2.66 vs.15.5±0.57,p?0.05).Of which, the fungal community diversity of medical group for 7 days reached to peak(26.0±0.81)among experimental groups.Suspended groups declined quickly after discontinuing medicine, and have no difference with control groups(14.5 ± 3.08 vs.15.5±0.57,p?0.05).Conclusion:Antibiotic associated diarrhea is connected with the diversity of gut fungal community, which could increase the fungal community diversity significantly. In addition, antibiotic may promote the proliferation of fungal community.
