Kelp is a kind of brown algae in the ocean.The kelp contains a lot of minerals such as iodine,which is very beneficial to the human body and has high nutritional value.Iodine is very important.The processing of kelp in China is mainly to extract sodium alginate.However,after processing,a large amount of waste such as kelp slag will be produced.At present,the treatment of kelp slag is done by landfill method,which will cause serious environmental damage.Pollution.The study found that kelp slag contains a variety of nutrients and active ingredients,which can increase crop yield,promote plant early maturity,increase crop salt tolerance,alkali resistance and stress resistance,and improve crop quality.Therefore,the kelp slag is made into organic compost and applied to the production of vegetables and other crops,which has a good application prospect.In this paper,organic compost is firstly prepared from kelp slag,and three vegetable crops of garlic,cowpea and alfalfa are applied according to a certain ratio.The effects of organic compost of kelp residue on the growth,quality and soil properties of three vegetables are studied.as follows:1、Fermentation composting was carried out according to 60%kelp residue+1 5%wheat bran+25%chicken manure+5%KH2PO4+ 5%Jerusalem artichoke powder+bacteria.The whole fermentation process lasted for 41 days.After the composting,the temperature and pH of the heap were C/N meets the requirements for heap maturity.The contents of N,P and K in compost were 20.8mg/L,6.09 mg/L and 4.76 mg/L,respectively,which met the requirements of fermentation.The germination index of compost was tested and it was found that the germination rate of the seeds of garlic,alfalfa and cowpea was above 80%,indicating that the compost was non-toxic.2、In the soil where chemical fertilizer and kelp slag compost were applied,the nutrient content,effective nutrient content,microbial biomass,hydrolase and catalase activity were significantly higher than the blank control.The application of 2%,4%,6%concentration of kelp slag compost,found that 4%concentration of kelp slag compost had the greatest impact on soil phosphatase activity,the results of three replicates were 578.19 mg/kg,593.44 mg/kg,607.12 mg/kg has a significant effect on soil phosphatase activity.The effective P,effective K and organic matter content of the soil in the 4%kelp slag composting treatment were 91.6 mg/Kg,728.8 mg/Kg and 7.62 g/kg,respectively,and the content was the highest among the three treatments.Therefore,4%of the kelp slag was considered Composting is the optimum concentration of fertilizer for kelp slag.3、The kelp slag compost was applied to the farmland and found to have a significant effect on the plant height and root length of the garlic,and the plant height and root length increased with the increase of the kelp slag concentration.With the increase of the concentration of kelp slag compost,the contents of total nitrogen,total phosphorus and total potassium of garlic,cowpea and sorghum were significantly increased.The application of compost had a significant effect on the nitrate content of the three vegetables.The nitrate content of the 2%,4%,and 6%treated vegetables decreased with the increase of the compost application concentration,which was 11.71%lower than that ofthe control.16.14%,29.45%.The overall trend of vitamin C in the three vegetables increased with the increase of compost concentration.The vitamin C in vegetables treated with 6%kelp slag compost was significantly higher than the control,the content increased by 57.14%,and the vitamin C of 2%kelp slag compost treatment increased 32.11%,vitamin C increased by 46.43%in vegetables with 6%kelp slag compost. |
