Environmentally friendly and non-antibiotic additives feed using in livestock-raising process are two important prospect for the development of husbandry industry.Compound probiotics,a potential antibiotic substitute, has increasingly cared by animal researchers because it originated from nature with a series of advantages including the maintenance of intestinal health, the homeostasis of bacterial flora, and the improvement of anti-oxidation and immunity. The aim of this research is to assess the effects of compound probiotics which of the main components are Enterococcus faecalis ?1×109 cfu/g,Bacillus subtilis ?1×109 cfu/g,Lactobacillus acidophilus ?1×109 cfu/g(Enterococcus faecalis: Bacillus subtilis: Lactobacillus acidophilus = 1:1:1,mass ratio)and determine the optimum addition level for growing pigs.160 “Du × Chang × Da” ternary crossbred strain pigs(weight ± SE,33.03 ± 0.28kg)with similar genetic basis were randomly divided into 4 groups:(1)control group without compound probiotics(control group,n = 10);(2)treatment with compound probiotics of 100 mg/kg in basal diet(experiment group I,n = 10);(3)treatment with compound probiotics of 200 mg/kg in basal diet(experiment group II,n = 10);(4)treatment with compound probiotics of 300 mg/kg in basal diet(experiment group III,n = 10),The experiment lasted for 28 days.Observed its growth performance and diarrhea rate, apparent digestibility, blood biochemical indicators, antioxidant, immune were measured. The results shown as follows:(1)Growth performance and diarrhea rate:The final weight and daily weight gain of pigs quadratic linear increased with the gradient additive level of compound probiotics(P<0.05).The average daily feed intake showed a linear growth trend with the increase of the compound probiotics(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the addition of 200 mg/kg compound probiotics significantly increased the daily weight gain(P<0.05).In addition, compared with the addition of 300 mg/kg compound probiotics, the treatment group with 100 mg/kg?200 mg/kg compound probiotics that significantly decreased the diarrhea rate(P<0.01).(2)Apparent digestibility:Compared with the control group, the addition of 200 mg/kg and 300 mg/kg compound probiotics significantly increased the phosphorus digestibility(P<0.05),and the phosphorus digestibility increased linearly with the addition of the compound probiotics(P<0.01).Compared with the 300 mg/kg addition level of compound probiotics,100 mg/kg and 200 mg/kg addition level increased the energy absorption(P<0.05),and 200 mg/kg significantly increased the digestibility of crude protein(P<0.05).The total energy could increase with the increase of the amount of compound probiotics(P<0.05).(3)Effects of serum physiology and biochemical indicators:The contents of total cholesterol(TC)and total protein(TP)showed a linear trend with the increase of the amount of compound probiotics(P<0.01),and the blood glucose(GLU)content showed a linear trend(P<0.05);The activity of aspartate aminotransferase(AST)showed a linear trend with the increase of the addition amount of the compound probiotics(P<0.01).Compared with the control group, the addition of different levels of the compound probiotics extremely significantly increased the TP content(P<0.01);and 200 mg/kg compound probiotics addition level can increase the globulin(GLB)(P=0.064)? GLU content(P<0.05)and TC content(P<0.01);100 mg/kg and 200 mg/kg addition leveal of compound probiotics significantly reduced the AST compared with other groups(P<0.01).The addition of 200 mg/kg compound probiotics significantly increased alkaline phosphatase(ALP)activity(P<0.01).(4)Antioxidant:Compared with the control group, the addition amount of 200 mg/kg compound probiotics increased the content of superoxide dismutase(SOD)in serum(P=0.077).And the SOD content increased with the addition of the compound probiotics that shows a Sublinear trend(1>P>0.05).The addition of different levels of compound probiotics had no significant effect on glutathionease(GSH)content, malondialdehyde(MDA)content and CAT.(5)Immunity:Compared with the control group, the addition of 200 mg/kg compound probiotics significantly increased the immunoglobulin G(Ig G)content(P<0.05),the content of immunoglobulin A(IgA)were increased.(P=0.074).In summary, the compound probiotics can improve the growth performance of the growing pig and the apparent digestibility of some nutrients;it also plays an important role in enhancing antioxidant and immune immunity, and the level of compound probiotics in the growing pig diet is increased. It is advisable to add 200 mg/kg compound probiotics for growing pigs.
