Pneumatic electrostatic spray technology is an advanced low-volume spray application technology. With the help of wind and electrostatic atomization,it can effectively improve the deposition density of pesticide droplets on the crop canopy, pesticide utilization rate, and pest control effects. As to achieve the purpose of reducing drugs and increasing efficiency. At present, this technology has become an important research direction in the field of plant protection spray machinery at home and abroad.Based on previous research experience and basis, this paper carried out the design and test research of air-assisted electrostatic spray system, summarized and analyzed the theory and design method of air-assisted electrostatic spray technology, and then designed and developed a air-assisted electrostatic nozzle and spray system, and The atomization performance and deposition regular pattern of the nozzle are studied through the test method, which provides a reference for the development of the electrostatic spray system. The main research work and conclusions of this article include:(1)This article summarizes the research status of gas-assisted electrostatic spray technology at home and abroad.Foreign countries, especially the United States, have conducted in-depth research on gas-assisted electrostatic spray technology.China has also made a lot of research progress in recent years.Analyze and describe the atomization process and charging process, and tell the influence of electrostatic effect on the droplet breakage and movement trajectory.(2)This article completes the design and selection of the gas-assisted electrostatic spray system. The system is composed of a liquid supply device,a gas supply device, and a charging device. The structural design of the gas-assisted electrostatic nozzle is developed to meet the technology.Considered the required spray flow rate and droplet size, the selection of key components of the gas-assisted electrostatic spray system was completed, including diaphragm pumps, throttle valves, air compressors and electrostatic generators.(3)In this paper, the atomization performance study of the gas-assisted electrostatic nozzle was carried out.A number of tests were carried out on the airflow field, mist cone angle,charge-to-mass ratio, fog droplets size, uniformity and spary range. The general operating rules of the proper operating parameters of spray systems and the effects of different operating parameters on spray performance. The research results show that under low pressure conditions, the charge voltage has little effect on the charge-to-mass ratio, fog cone angle, droplet uniformity, and spray range, but when the pressure is higher, the charge voltage has an effect on the charge-to-mass ratio, particle size,Uniformity, fog cone angle and range have an impact. In the case of a pressure of 0.10 MPa and a test distance of 0.1m,when the voltage is increased from 1000 V to 4000 V,the charge-to-mass ratio increases by 127.8%.In addition, there is an interaction between distance and voltage on the charge-to-mass ratio, which is affected by the characteristics of charge decay, and distance and air pressure also have an interaction on wind speed, which is affected by the characteristics of wind speed decay. This article analyzes the regularity phenomena which is exhibited by performance tests to understand the reasons for the formation of these regularities.(4)An experimental study was conducted on the field of the droplet deposition law of the spray system.Considering the interactive influence of factors,a multi-factor orthogonal test was designed, the voltage, air pressure, distance, leaf area index and interaction terms were studied through the experiment. The general law of the influence of the penetration of fog droplets and the adhesion of the back, and the significance of various factors or interaction terms was analyzed by orthogonal test, and the optimal value of the operating parameters was determined. The results show that among the various factors that affect the spray penetration of the device, the degree of influence from high to low is the distance, leaf area index, air pressure and charging voltage.By reducing the distance and increasing the air pressure, the droplet penetration can be improved.he effect of voltage on penetration is not significant, and there is no obvious interaction between various factors.Among the various factors that affect the adhesion of the back of the leaf, the degree of influence from high to low is air pressure, distance, air pressure × voltage, distance × voltage, voltage and leaf area index.Back adhesion. The interaction between air pressure and voltage is higher than voltage and lower than air pressure.
