Porcine Circovirus Disease, also known as porcine circovirus associated disease,is a general term for many diseases caused by porcine circovirus type 2,mainly including weaning multisystemic wasting syndrome, porcine dermatitis nephrotic syndrome and so on.The disease can lead to severe immunosuppression in pigs, which is easy to be secondary or complicated with other infectious diseases. At present,PCV2 exists in almost all pig herds, seriously affecting the production performance of pigs and causing huge economic losses to the pig industry in China. In order to further understand the epidemic regularity of PCV2 infection in swine herds and the situation of wild virus infection, and to guide clinical prevention and control of PCV2 infection, the following experimental studies were carried out in this paper.1?Using the established ELISA method for detecting PCV2-Rep and Cap protein antibodies, blood samples were collected from pigs at different growth stages of three large-scale pig farms, and the levels of PCV2-Rep and Cap antibodies and the regularity of antibody growth and decline were explored. The results showed that pigs were exposed to high pressure of PCV2 infection before and after 90 days of age.The time when the level of Rep antibody increased significantly was 2-4 weeks earlier than that of Cap antibody, which proved that the change of Rep antibody could predict the early infection of the body.2?Using the established PCV2-Rep and Cap antibody ELISA detection methods,1260 sow sera from 2006 to 2009 and 2011 to 2014 were tested to explore the infection status of PCV2 in each year.According to the results of the detection results of RP and Cap antibody levels in each year, the established PCV2-Rep and Cap antibody ELISA detection methods can be applied to the investigation of circovirus infection.
