In agricultural cultivation,the long-term use of chemical fertilizers can lead to soil structure damage,crop yield decline and environmental pollution.The discovery and application of microbial fertilizers have alleviated this problem.In recent years,microbial fertilizers improve soil properties and nutrient content,and they also play an active role in crop growth and pest control.Therefore,microbial fertilizers can be divided into traditional microbial fertilizers and new microbial functional fertilizers.This paper systematically expounds the classification,composition and functions of traditional microbial fertilizers and new microbial functional fertilizers.Traditional microbial fertilizers are used to release nitrogen,phosphorus,potassium and other trace elements in soil for plant absorption and utilization through microbial life activities.The main function of microbial fertilizers is to increase soil nutrients,improve soil structure,enhance crop immunity and increase crop yield.The study in the paper has collected and analysed planting data about several common fruits and vegetables.Under the same environment conditions,microbial fertilizers can strengthen crop roots,increase fruit yield,and inhibit pests and diseases.Under different environmental conditions,the promotion of microbes to crops under harsh environmental conditions is more pronounced than that of crops under better environmental conditions.Through the effect of microbial fertilizers applied to fruits and vegetables,the characteristics,application methods and precautions of microbial fertilizers were summarized.The key to microbial fertilizers is to use the activity of the strain,and the application field and scope of microbial fertilizer in agricultural planting are gradually expanding.In the future,microbial fertilizer application in the field of crop market demand will continue to expand.As pollution-free fertilizers with low cost,less investment and good application effect,they show a good development prospect.
