Comparative Analysis Of Agronomic Characters And Yield Of 17 New Corn Varieties Including Ruipu 908

Corn is the main grain and feed crop in my country.The promotion and application of new good corn varieties in production not only provides farmers with more choices,but also plays an important role in accelerating the development of the corn industry.In view of the problems existing in the maize variety promotion in Baoji city,the suitable maize varieties were screened and identified.In 2017 and 2018,the yield,growth period,lodging,plant height,panicle position,panicle row number,row grain number,disease number,etc.of 17 corn varieties were tested at two sites in Longxian County and Qianyang County,Baoji City.The traits were analyzed and compared,and the adaptability was comprehensively evaluated.Through the analysis and comparison of biological characteristics,disease resistance analysis and yield of various varieties,the research results are as follows:(1)Two-year two-point experiments show that Ruipu 908,Xinyan 218,Simon 208,Nongkeda 18,Denghai 3721 and Ruipu 909 have good yield,stability and adaptability.(2)Disease identification results: Denghai 3721,Ruipu 908 and Jinkai 8 showed good resistance to both large and small spot diseases.(3)By comparing the data of two points in two years,it is found that the difference in the number of ear rows of different corn varieties is not significant,but there is a significant difference in the number of row grains,which is greatly affected by the location environment.(4)Among the two test sites,the seed yield of Denghai 3721 in Longxian test site was the highest,and the seed yield of Zhongyu 968 was relatively low.At the experimental site in Qianyang County,Jinkeyu 3308 had a relatively high seeding rate,while Denghai 3721 was second,compared with Simon 668 having the lowest seeding rate.(5)In the two test sites of two years,the lodging rate of Baodan 918,Ruipu 908,Nongkeda 18,Luyu 1525,Xinyan 218 and Jinkeyu 3306 are all 0,showing good lodging resistance.(6)Through the factor analysis of corn yield in two test sites in two years,three factors affecting corn yield are summarized: panicle number per unit area,kernel weight per hundred grains and kernel number per panicle.Among the three trait factors,there is a certain linear relationship between the number of panicles and the number of grains per panicle and the yield.Based on the performance of various varieties,Ruipu 908,Xinyan 218,Simon 208 and Nongkeda 18 are varieties high-yielding,stable-yielding and adaptable varieties,which can be used as spring-spread corn varieties for large-scale demonstration and promotion in Baoji area.
