Study On The Development Issues Of Pig Breeding Industry In Russia

The development of pig breeding industry in Russia has experienced ups and downs since the 1990 s,first through a period of decline,then through a period of continuous rise.The number of pigs is gradually returning to the level of the 1990 s.Even in the face of the cut-off of pork import sources and the severe African swine plague,the pig breeding industry in Russia is growing.Since 2006,the number of the pig breeding in Russia has gradually increased,and the scale of pork production has been expanding,gradually realizing self-sufficiency.Under the guidance of national policies,the main structure of pig breeding in Russia has gradually changed,from the original family scattered mode to the agricultural organization intensive mode.The number of commercial scale pig farms are growing at an average annual rate of 20%,and the pig breeding conditions are gradually improving.However,the pig breeding industry in Russia still faces a series of problems,including the problem of swine plague,high investment in the pig breeding funds,low profits and slow return and so on.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the development of the pig breeding industry in Russia,this paper discusses the main problems existing in the current the pig breeding industry in Russia,and gives corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.This paper based on the methods of statistical analysis and descriptive analysis to research the development process and stage characteristics of Russian pig breeding industry in 1990-2019 after Russia's independence,sums up the problems existing in the development of Russian pig breeding industry,and analyzes the favorable environment for the development of Russian pig breeding industry from macro,meso and micro levels And the adverse environment that caused the problem.The conclusions are as follows: at the macro level,Russia's production policy,export policy and epidemic prevention and control policy of supporting pig breeding industry are constantly adjusted to support the development of pig breeding industry;at the meso level,the upstream industry chain of pig breeding industry is constantly expanding,and the downstream industry consumption demand is also growing;at the micro level,the level of farmers is constantly improving,and the breeding technology and The management level is gradually strengthening.Judging from the current situation of the development of the pig breeding industry in Russia,the pig breeding in Russia has been transformed into a large-scale and intensive breeding mode.The number of pig breeding has gradually returned to the initial stage of independence.The pig breeding output has changed from the past short of supply to partial export,which has an important impact on the economic development of the whole country.The study also found that there are a series of problems in the pig breeding industry in Russia due to different reasons.For example,due to the rapid development of intensive and large-scale pig breeding in Russia,the problem of pig breeding pollution is becoming increasingly serious;due to the lack of a sound product quality and safety standard system and the lack of breeding capacity,Russia's import demand is still large;due to the lack of a sound epidemic prevention and control system,it is still difficult to effectively prevent and control the epidemic;due to the macro policy system and mesoscopic service The imperfection of business system leads to a series of problems,such as short capital chain,high cost of pig breeding,single financing channel,low quality and safety standards of meat products,which are still the problems to be solved in the development of Russian pig breeding industry.This paper based on the statistical analysis of the current situation,stage characteristics and problems of the development of the pig breeding industry in Russia,this paper analyzes the causes of the development of the pig breeding industry in Russia from the macro,meso and micro levels,and then puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to promote the development of the pig breeding industry in Russia.
