| To provide scientific basis for the protection,development and utilization of forest resources in the Greater Xing’an Mountains,this paper organized and classified the data fr-om forest resource investigations provided by Bailang Forestry Bureau from 2013 to 2018.Using mathematical statistical analysis and comparative analysis methods,this paper analyzed the forest resource characteristics of Bailang Town in Alshan from the temporal and spatial scales,involving the dynamic changes of forest land types,forest resources,area accumulation of different age groups,shrubs,and plantations variety.The main results are as follows:(1)The land use efficiency of Bailang Town increased at first and then changed steadily,and the utilization rate of forest land increased at first and then decreased from 2013 to 2018.The area of forest land indicated an increasing trend,while that of non-forest land indicated a decreasing trend.Forest cover indicated an increasing trend.Up to 2018,the forest cover was 89.73 percent.(2)The total accumulation of live standing wood indicated an increasing trend year by year from 2013 to 2018.The total volume of living standing wood was 5740029m3 up to 2018,and the accumulation of living standing wood increased by nearly 281459m3 within the 6 years.The volume of different types of trees changed obviously,and the forest land indicated an increasing trend year by year,while the sparse forest land and loose wood increased at first and then decreased.(3)Bailang Town is located on the south side of Daxing’an Mountains.Picea koraiensis,Larix gmelini,Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica,Betula platyphylla,Betula dahurica,Populus davidiana and Chosenia arbutifolia are the dominant species of their forest resources.The accumulation of Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica decreased at first and then increased,while the accumulation of Picea asperata,Betula platyphylla,Betula dahurica,Populus davidiana and Chosenia arbutifolia indicated an increasing trend from 2013 to 2018.(4)The area of young forest,middle-aged forest and near-mature forest are large,which are an important part of forest resources,while the area of mature forest and overmature forest are small,the proportion of forest is small from 2013 to 2018.The volume of middle-aged forest in Bailang Town was the first,the volume of near-mature forest and mature forest were second,and the volume of young forest and over-mature forest were small.(5)From 2013 to 2018,the area of plantation decreased gradually,but the volume of plantation increased gradually,and the area and volume of young forest,near-mature forest and mature forest indicated a decreasing trend,while the area and volume of middle-aged forest and overmature forest indicated an increasing trend. |
