As an important part of environmental problems, soil erosion is one of the problems to be solved in the future.Wujiang river is the focus of water and soil conservation in the Yangtze River basin, and the upper reaches of Chishui River directly affects the source area of the whole water area,so it is of great significance to find out the real soil and water loss in this area.Zhenxiong County is located in the birthplace of the Chishui River basin, with complex terrain, large rainy season in summer and a large number of poor population. All these complicated factors mean that local soil and water conservation work is facing severe challenges. Therefore,it is urgent to monitor and control soil erosion scientifically and accurately in the upper and middle reaches of the Chishui River. In this study,Zhenxiong County was selected as the main research object in combination with the project of "Remote sensing interpretation technology service for dynamic monitoring of soil and water loss in the upper and middle reaches of The Chishui River in Wujiang".Based on satellite remote sensing image interpretation and field investigation, the method of the combination of master of the specific conditions of the local soil and water loss,to find the spatial distribution of soil and water loss and through GIS platform stack operation, find each influence factor and the correlation of soil erosion, soil and water loss and provide a series of reasonable Suggestions accordingly for the local. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Although soil and water conservation work is continuing in Zhenxiong County, there are still serious soil erosion problems in the two most widely distributed land use types, arable land and forestland.(2)The micro-degree erosion area in the whole region was 1,546.95km2,accounting for 41.49%;The mild loss area was 752.80km2,accounting for 20.19%.The moderate loss area was 945.22km2,accounting for 25.35%.The strength loss area was 350.08km2,accounting for 9.39%;The loss area of extreme strength was 105.77km2,accounting for 2.84%.The severe loss area was 27.38km2,accounting for 0.73%.(3)Vegetation cover factors in Zhenxiong County were negatively correlated with local soil erosion intensity and distribution range, that is,the higher the vegetation cover was,the less soil erosion occurred, which was consistent with the mainstream research conclusions on soil erosion. Therefore, the importance of vegetation protection in the research area for soil erosion control is self-evident.Only by protecting the plant system in the research area can follow-up relevant governance work be carried out.(4)When the slope of the study area was<5°,5-8° and 8-15°,soil erosion did not occur with intensity or higher. This phenomenon indicated that when the slope was lower than 15°,high intensity soil erosion was difficult to occur in Zhenxiong County. When the slope was lower than 5°,more than 90%of the erosion types were micro-erosion.However,when the slope was 5-8°,the type of mild erosion was more than 50%and the proportion of moderate erosion increased to 15.06%.When the regional slope is 8-15°,moderate erosion is the main type of erosion.Analysis of these data shows that soil erosion intensity is positively correlated with slope factor in these areas.
