In order to explore the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of thunder and lightning in Hohhot city and every county,the characteristics of thunder and lightning,the relationship between thunder and lightning and precipitation,and the influence of severe convection weather on agricultural production.In this paper,conventional mathematical statistical methods such as climate trend rate,wavelet analysis and Pearson correlation analysis are adopted to conduct a comparative study on the data processing of ADTD ground flash and position finder data in Hohhot region from 2013 to 2017,data of artificial observation thunderstorm days from 1959 to 2013 55 years,surface precipitation and other data.The main results are as follows:1.Hohhot regional thunderstorm 55 a to all showed a trend of decline,and have obvious seasonal variation,thunderstorms concentration occurs in July and August,most of thunderstorm in the early days in April,most thunderstorms all day in October after five flag county thunderstorms on time scale volatility changes of three cycle and cycle time,including WuChuan County and QingShuiHe exists the phenomenon of mutation of thunderstorm in time.2.In terms of time,the activity characteristics of lightning are basically consistent with that of thunderstorm day,and there are obvious diurnal variations in lightning activities.In terms of spatial distribution,the negative ground lightning intensity is more concentrated than the positive lightning intensity,and the positive lightning intensity is more scattered.3.The number of thunderstorm days and precipitation days,lightning frequency and precipitation have a certain correlation,except the urban area of Hohhot city and toketo county,the number of thunderstorm days and precipitation days show a significant positive correlation.Except for toketo county,precipitation was positively correlated with lightning frequency.In Hohhot area,severe convective weather caused by thunderstorms,short-time heavy precipitation and hail mainly reduced agricultural production and caused economic losses.4.In Hohhot region,most of the lightning disasters occur in summer in rural areas,accounting for 80%of the total number of lightning disasters,which is closely related to rural geographical environment and human factors.To sum up,the lightning activity in Hohhot area has certain regularity in time and spatial distribution,and the precipitation activity is correlated with the lightning activity.The severe convection disaster weather causes certain losses to agricultural production,and corresponding defense measures should be taken to deal with agricultural production in the disaster season.The occurrence of lightning disasters in summer and the proportion of rural areas should be paid enough attention.
