In recent years, with the continuous development of blue fox breeding industry, the fecundity of blue fox has become one of the important factors affecting the production efficiency of breeding farms. The level of blue fox hormone is an important index to affect its estrus expression and reproductive organ development, and also an important criterion to determine feculence.Although the breeding technology of blue fox is becoming more and more mature, the reproductive physiology of blue fox is still lacking in many aspects at home and abroad. To this end,the following exp eriments werc carried out:1.serum samples of 11 female blue foxes in normal estrus were detected by RIA.2.the steroid hormone levels of 6 blue foxes in typical heat, atypical heat and non-heat were detected and the corresponding reproductive organs(ovary and uterus)were observed histologically.3.the use of exogenous hormones to stimulate the emotions of blue foxes without heat. The results showed that the maximum value of blue fox follicle-stimulating hormone(2.17±0.69)U/L and the peak value of luteinizing hormone 8.82±1.83 U/L were fluctuated. The maximum value of estradiol in estrus and pregnancy was 27.73±23.19 ng/L.Progesterone remained at a high level in estrus and early gestation, with a peak value of 2.41±1.35 ?g/L,which decreased significantly in late gestation and reached a minimum on the day of delivery(P<0.05).Prolactin remained at a high level in estrus and pregnancy, with a maximum value of 0.21±0.05 U/L,which fluctuated but showed no significant difference(P>0.05).In the determination of steroid hormone levels in typical estrus, atypical estrus and non-estrus blue fox,the content of estradiol in urine was significantly higher than that in feces, especially in the typical estrus group, reaching 11065.17±546.76 ng/L,and the difference between different groups was significant, while the content of progesterone was not significantly different from that in feces.Progesterone content was slightly higher than urine in faeces of typical oestrus females, but significantly higher than urine in non-estrus females, which was 16.61±0.63 ?g/L.Fecal and urine measurements of progesterone and estradiol were significantly correlated with estrus expression.Feces, urine as steroid detection samples, although the content of differences, but the trend of change is the same, can be used.Ovarian and uterine development in the typical estrus female blue fox, large size, ovarian follicles at all levels and a number of corpus luteum, uterine mucosal epithelium is columnar epithelium, closely arranged,a large number of glands can be seen in the lamina propria. The development of ovary and uterus of female blue fox in atypical estrus was similar to that of female fox in typical estrus. The ovaries and uterus of blue fox without estrus were immature, the follicles in the ovaries were mostly in atresia, there were no oocytes and luteum, and the interstitial cells of the lamina propria and the muscle layer were more closely arranged. In 30 female blue foxes with different combinations of exogenous reproductive hormones,5 showed typical signs of estrus and 3 showed false pregnancy after sperm transfusion, but none of them gave birth. The results showed that the use of exogenous hormones could induce partial female blue fox to be in heat but not to give birth.
