Seed vigor testing is one of the most important production links in agricultural development.The level of seed vigor is an important indicator reflecting the factors such as seed germination potential,germination rate and field emergence rate.The seed vigor detection method can be divided into two types: lossy detection and non-destructive testing,each of which has advantages and disadvantages.In terms of damage detection,due to the disadvantages of damage detection on seed samples,such as irreversible damage,poor repeatability of experiments,and long detection period,experts and scholars in related fields have begun experimental research on seed nondestructive testing technology.In a few decades,various test methods with certain feasibility have been successfully developed.Studies have shown that the value of the seed's respiratory intensity can reflect its potential vitality value from the side.Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy(TDLAS)is widely used in the field of trace gas detection in various fields.It has the advantages of high sensitivity,fast detection speed,continuous detection and good anti-interference.In this paper,the non-destructive detection method of seed vigor based on TDLAS was studied,and the seed vigor level was obtained by detecting the respiratory intensity.This paper introduces the relevant principles and experimental system components based on TDLAS technology detection.Based on TDLAS system,including Jinzao 47,Liaoxing No.1,Nanxun 5055,Ning 81,Ning 88,Yanfeng 47 and Zhongzao 39 Respiratory spectroscopy data were collected from 64 samples of seven varieties of rice seeds.The germination tests were carried out on these samples one by one,and the germination potential,germination rate and vitality level of each group of seeds were obtained.In this paper,the original spectral data generated by seed respiration was pretreated by cumulative averaging,wavelet transform denoising,digital phase-locked amplification and SG smooth fitting.The results were compared with seed vigor and found to be positively correlated.Based on this,two methods of detecting the vitality based on respiratory spectroscopy data by point incremental detection method and definite integral geometric detection method are proposed.The vigor of rice seed samples of each variety is discriminated separately.The results of germination test can be compared and analyzed.The method is feasible.Finally,the comparison of TDLAS detection method with other non-destructive testing methods by establishing the overall quantitative assessment method shows that the method has good cost performance.The research shows that the non-destructive testing method based on TDLAS rice seed vigor is feasible,and has the advantages of non-destructive,high-efficiency and easy automation.It is the future direction of non-destructive testing of seed vigor.
