Acidifiers are widely used as a new type of green additive in animal production. In this experiment,a complex acidifier composed of citric acid, lactic acid, phosphoric acid, calcium formate, carrier, etc.was selected to study its effects on the performance and intestinal development of broilers, and some applications in practice were providedIn this experiment,240 AA broilers of similar age were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups,8 replicates in each group, and 15 chickens in each replicate.Group A was the control group and fed the basal diet;Group B was the experimental group, and the acidifier was added to the basal diet at the recommended dose of 1.5 kg/t.The trial is divided into two phases, the first phase is 1-21 days old, feeding the early diet;the 22-40 day age is the second phase, feeding the late diet. The results showed that:(1)The acidifier had no significant effect on the production performance(P>0.05),but with the increase of age,the average daily gain was higher than that of the control group at 22-42 days. The feed:weight gain was reduced to some extent relative to the control group. In the whole period, the feed:weight gain was also lower than that of the control group. The feed intake was also reduced to different extents in the control group, but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).(2)The acidifier significantly reduced the content of triglyceride in plasma(P<0.01).There was no significant effect on plasma glucose, total cholesterol,high-low density lipoprotein content(P>0.05).However,in terms of numerical values, glucose decreased by 5.65%,total cholesterol decreased by 13.55%,high-density lipoprotein decreased by 14.56%,and low-density lipoprotein decreased by 8.33%.(3)The acidifier significantly decreased pH of broiler muscular and glandular stomach(P<0.05).The acidifier had no significant effect on the pH of the duodenum, jejunum, ileum and cecum(P>0.05),but the pH numerical value of each intestinal segment decreased to varying degrees;(4)There was a tendency to increase the proportion of ileum(P=0.0726),which was 27.28% higher than that of the control group. However, there was no significant effect on the proportion of duodenum, jejunum and cecum of broilers(P>0.05),but the proportion of cecum was increased compared with the control group(P>0.05).(5)The acidifier had no significant effect on the length of the villi, the depth of the crypt and the ratio of cashmere in duodenum(P>0.05),but from the numerical value, the crypt depth is reduced by 10.65% compared with the control group, and the velvet ratio isincreased by 12.69%.Although there was no significant effect on the length of the villus in the jejunum, compared with the control group, the length of the villus in the acidifier group increased by 11.85%;the depth of the crypt also increased to a different extent than the control group, the depth of the crypt and the ratio of villus height to crypt depth had no significant changes(P>0.05);the ratio of villus height to crypt depth of ileum was significantly increased(P<0.05),although the villus height and crypt depth did not have a significant change(P>0.05),but from the numerical value, the villus height increased by 34.90% and the crypt depth decreased by 12.56%.Conclusion: The addition of complex acidifier in feed has no significant effect on the production performance, significantly reduce the content of triglyceride in serum, and increase the proportion of ileum. The ratio of villus height to crypt depth in the ileum is significantly increased, the pH of the glandular stomach and muscle stomach are significantly reduced.
