Enteromorpha is a kind of seaweed which has high dietary fiber,low fat and rich in amino acids.In ancient times,it was often made into food by people in coastal areas.Now,the extracted Enteromorpha polysaccharide is used in food,medicine and cosmetics field.As an excellent breed in Northeast China,Zi goose has the characteristics of rough feeding resistance and strong disease resistance.But compared with chicken,its laying performance is lower.In order to increase its egg production,this experiment added Enteromorpha powder as feed material to the goose's feed,and verified the application effect by studying the laying performance,egg quality,antioxidant level,reproduction performance and other indicators of the Zi goose.On the one hand,it solves the pollution problem of Enteromorpha and provides ideas for the development and utilization of new feed materials.On the other hand,it explores the application effect of Enteromorpha powder in Zi goose and provides a basis for its further application in the production of Zi goose.312 1-year-old Zi geese with similar health status and laying rate were randomly divided into two groups:the control group and the experimental group.Each group had 6 replicates,21 female geese and 5 male geese.The ratio of male to female was 1:4.2.The control group was fed with basic diet,and the experimental group was fed with diet containing 3%Enteromorpha powder.The experiment lasted for 7 weeks,to explore the application effect of Enteromorpha powder in Zi geese and provide basis for its further application in Zi geese production.According to the feeding management of the goose factory,all the geese are raised outside the house under natural light.Record the egg production every day,recycle the leftover material every week,and calculate the feed conversion ratio.Every two weeks,goose eggs are distributed to the incubator,and the fertilization rate and the hatching rate were calculated.The egg quality was measured at the end of the 5th and 7th week of the experiment;the blood samples of two female geese with similar body weight were collected from the vein under the wing at the end of the 7th week of the experiment for the determination of serum antioxidant(SOD,GSH-Px,CAT,MDA,reproductive hormone?Gn RH,PRL,LH,FSH,E2,P4?.At the end of the 7th week,a female goose with similar weight was slaughtered for each repetition.The tissues of hypothalamus,liver and ovary were taken for the determination of antioxidant and reproductive hormone related genes.The uterine part of fallopian tube was sliced and observed by HE staining.The test results show that:?1?Laying performance:The addition of 3%Enteromorpha powder significantly increased the egg production and laying rate?P<0.01?,decreased the average daily intake and feed egg ratio?P<0.01?,and had no significant effect on the egg qualification rate?P>0.05?.?2?Egg quality:Compared with the control group,adding 3%Enteromorpha powder significantly increased egg yolk color at week 5?P<0.05?,and had no significant effect on all indicators at week 7?P>0.05?.?3?Antioxidant capacity:Compared with the control group,adding 3%Enteromorpha powder significantly increased serum GSH-Px activity?P<0.01?,but had no significant effect on serum SOD,CAT and MDA?P>0.05?;adding 3%Enteromorpha powder significantly reduced liver GSH-Px activity?P<0.01?and MDA?P<0.05?,but had no significant effect on liver SOD and CAT?P>0.05?;adding Enteromorpha powder significantly increased ovarian GSH-Px activity?P<0.05?,MDA was decreased?P<0.05?,SOD and CAT were not significantly affected?P>0.05?.Addition of 3%Enteromorpha powder could significantly increase the expression of CAT m RNA in liver?P<0.01?,but had no significant effect on the expression of SOD1 and GSH-Px4 m RNA in liver?P>0.05?;addition of 3%Enteromorpha powder had no significant effect on the expression of SOD1,GSH-Px4 and CAT m RNA in ovary?P>0.05?.?4?Reproductive performance:Compared with the control group,adding 3%Enteromorpha powder had no significant effect on the fertilization rate and hatching rate of breeding eggs?P>0.05?;adding 3%Enteromorpha powder significantly increased serum E2?P<0.05?,but had no significant effect on serum Gn RH,PRL,LH,FSH,P4?P>0.05?;adding 3%Enteromorpha powder significantly increased ovarian PRL?P<0.05?,but had no significant effect on ovarian Gn RH,LH,FSH,E2,P4?P>0.05?;adding 3%Enteromorpha powder had no significant effect on m RNA expression of Gn RH1,PRLR,ESR2?P>0.05?;adding 3%Enteromorpha powder can maintain the integrity of oviduct and uterus mucosa.To sum up,adding 3%Enteromorpha powder can improve the laying performance,reduce the level of lipid peroxidation in vivo,increase the level of E2in serum,and maintain the integrity of oviduct and uterus mucosa.
