Effects Of Different Mulching On The Growth And Fruit Quality Of Apple Trees In Yellow River Area

This experiment was selected in the “Yoran Sunshine” apple orchard in Xuzhou City,which belongs to the old apple production area of ??the Yellow River.Affected by the local high temperature and high humidity climate environment,the weeds are not easy to control,the fruit quality is poor,and the orchard management is more difficult.In this study,the experiment was set up in April 2019,and ' Starkrimson ','Hirosaki Fuji' and 'Yanfu 10'were selected as the test objects,and clear cultivation was used as a control.The tree plate was covered with black plastic film,white plastic film,gardening The ground cloth and weeds,as well as the grass in the whole garden,are compared to explore the ground cover model most suitable for the apple production area of ??the old road of the Yellow River,and provide practical cultivation management models and scientific data for apple orchards in this area.The main findings are as follows:1.Compared with CK,grass cover,grass cover and horticultural ground cover can increase the fresh weight of single leaf,the thickness of single leaf,the leaf area and the length of new shoots,and significantly increase the growth of tree.2.Compared with CK,grass mulching and grass treatment are the most significant for increasing the net photosynthetic rate of ' Starkrimson ';in 'Hirosaki Fuji' and 'Yanfu 10',all five mulching treatments can be improved The net photosynthetic rate was the largest increase with grass cover.In August,the Hirosaki Fuji grass cover treatment increased the net photosynthetic rate by 48.62% compared with the control.3.The effect of mulch treatment on the transpiration rate in the early growth season is not significant,and it can be improved in the late growth season.Among them,the mulching treatment is the most significant.Compared with CK,the transpiration rate can be increased by about 16.29% ~ 50.57 %.4.In ‘Starkrimson' and ‘Hirosaki Fuji',mulching grass and raw grass can significantly increase the relative chlorophyll content,but the chlorophyll content of each treatment in‘Yanfu 10' does not vary much.5.Compared with CK,grass mulching and raw grass can increase yield and improve various fruit quality indicators,but mulching black film,white film and horticultural ground cloth have poor performance in various fruit quality.6.Grass mulch and horticultural ground cover can effectively control weeds.Compared with CK,it can reduce the labor input cost by about 50%.7.After comprehensive comparison,it is concluded that "ridge cultivation + tree-covered grass" is the most suitable farming mode in the old Yellow River area,which can not only effectively reduce management costs,but also improve tree growth ability and fruit quality.
