The soil regime of blueberry cultivation in Jiaohe and Jingyu of Jilin province were investigated, and we divided the soil into three regime: peat land, improved land and garden land. The experiment was conducted to study the soil nutrient content, plant growth, leaf growth physiological index, fruit quality and yield of the cultivar blueberry ‘Northland' under different soil conditions in the two regions. We combined with potted auxiliary experiments to explore the correlation among soil nutrient blueberry growth, physiological index and fruit quality,to provide theoretical basis of obtaining soil improvement technology to improve fruit quality yield of blueberry in the two regions. The main results were as follows:1.The results of the investigation showed that the blueberry can grow normally and form a certain yield on the three soil regime in the two region. The organic matter content of three soil types in the two regions had significantly differences, both of which showed the same phenomenon:peat land > improved land > garden land, and the organic mater content in different soil conditions were more than 4%.The growth and physiological indexes of blueberry leaves were higher in Jingyu than Jiaohe, and the regional differences were not significant. The soluble sugar content of fruit was not significant under different soil regime, and the organic acid content was the highest in Jingyu garden land, and the Vc content was the highest in Jiaohe peat land, and the soluble protein content was the highest in Jingyu peat land, and the anthocyanin content was the highest in Jingyu improved land.2.Under the peat soil conditions blueberry grows vigorously, the fruit quality is good, and the yield is in the middle of the three soil regime. The garden land had lower soil nutrients content, slightly worse plant performance, shorter tree, less yield. The growth and the fruit quality of blueberry in the improved land is intermediate level among the three soil regime, but the yield is highest.3.When the blueberry in the two regions for soil improvement, the organic matter content in Jiaohe reached 12.22%,the organic matter content in Jingyu reached 7.02%,and the p H was controlled between 4.8-5.2,which was the relatively high-quality and high-yield soil condition for blueberry.4.The results of pot experiment showed that two regions showed an inhibiting effect on the growth of blueberry due to excessive organic matter content. In the soil improvement in the two regions, the garden soil was added to the peat land, according to the volume ratio, the peat soil: garden soil = 3:1,and the organic matter content was controlled at 22%,which can reach the growth conditions of high quality and high yield of blueberry.5.The correlation analysis indicated that the soil organic matter content had a extremely significantly positive correlation with bush height, bush width(SN),soluble solids,Vc content and SOD activity, and significantly negative correlated with anthocyanin content.
