In production practice, the low germination rate of some varieties is an important factor affecting their yield. In addition, extremely low temperature weather and insufficient cold demand will also result in the reduction of germination rate and fruit setting rate of kiwifruit. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the mechanism of kiwifruit dormancy removal and promote kiwifruit to reach the normal cooling demand as soon as possible to improve kiwifruit yield per unit area and production efficiency. This experiment was carried out in Meixian,Shaanxi province, and Hayward and Xuxiang varieties were treated with chemical agents to induce sleep. The test method was a combination of field comprehensive test investigation and laboratory analysis. The cultivated characters of Hayward and Xuxiang cultivars under different treatments were investigated, including the days of early germination, germination rate, germination uniformity,fruit-bearing branch rate,fruit-setting rate, deformed flower and deformed fruit, etc. In order to provide some theoretical basis for improving the winter management of kiwifruit in Shaanxi province and improving the production efficiency and fruit quality of kiwifruit, the advantages and disadvantages of agents in each treatment period and each treatment were compared comprehensively. The conclusion is as follows:(1)Both Cyanamide and ERGER could improve germination rate, germination uniformity and germination timein Hayward cultivars. The best way to improve germination rate was to treat the ERGER on March 1.The best way to improve the germination uniformity was to treat with Cyanamide on March 7.The best time for early germination was to treat with Cyanamide on March 1.For Xuxiang variety,The germination rate and germination time could be increased by Cyanamide and ERGER.The best way to improve germination rate was to treat with Cyanamide on March 1.The best time for early germination was to treat with ERGER on March 7.ERGER could significantly increase germination rate of the fruiting parent shoot at the base of Hayward and Xuxiang, improve the vacuity of the inner chamber of hayward and Xuxiang, promote germination of the fruiting parent shoot at the base of Xuxiang, and reasonably allocate the fruiting parts. For Hayward and Xuxiang, the best time for the treatment of ERGER was March 14 and March 7,respectively.(2)For Hayward variety,ERGER and Cyanamide can improve the fruit branch rate and fruit setting rate, the best period of use is March 7;For Xuxiang variety,ERGER and Cyanamide could improve the fruit setting rate, and the best period of use was March 7.Cyanamide and ERGER caused the deformity of flowers and fruits in Hayward and Xuxiang.(3)For Hayward cultivars, both Cyanamide and ERGER ripened earlier and increased soluble solids and dry matter content. The best treatment period for early fruit ripening with ERGER was 7 March. The best time for early fruit ripening with Cyanamide was March 14.In Xuxiang variety,Cyanamide can advance fruit ripening, improve soluble solids and dry matter content, the best time for treatment is March 1.(4)Using Cyanamide and ERGER can improve the fruit hardness and soluble solid content of Hayward kiwifruit after storage, and has a positive effect on the change of dry matter quality after storage.(5)The germination was best when the number of buds was 15 to 17.When Cyanamideamine was used, the best germination condition was found when the number of bud left on the parent branch was 17 to 19.(6)The germination rate of Xuxiang and Hayward cultivars was the highest when the root-branch thickness was between 15 mm and 17 mm without the use of agents.(7)ERGER had significant effect on the thickening of kiwifruit branches.
