An Analysis Of Buckwheat Custom Of Kulun Mongolians

As a crop with Mongolian characteristics in Korqin area,buckwheat has a long history of planting,whose nutritional value and health value are both paid special attention to by people.Thanks to its unique sandy soil quality,Kulun cultivates high-quality buckwheat.Therefore,Kulun Buckwheat" was named as China's national geographic indication product and protected.For a long time,the Kulun Mongolians have grown and enjoyed buckwheat,which is indispensable to all aspects of their life.Kulun gradually created a unique buckwheat culture in this process.The thesis consists of five parts: introduction,three chapters in the main body,conclusion,bibliography,and appendix.The introduction part mainly introduces the purpose,research overview,research methods and the historical origin of buckwheat planting in Kulun banner.This paper discusses the history of buckwheat planting in Mongolia and then analyzes the history of buckwheat planting in Kulun region and the conditions of buckwheat planting in Kulun region.At the same time,by combining with the literature and interview materials,the cultural interpretation of the name of "buckwheat" and the historical information of buckwheat planting in Kukun Mongolians is made.The first chapter of the main body mainly discusses the oral literature inheritance of buckwheat by Kulun Mongolians,including the stories,songs,proverbs,riddles,song of praise and poems about buckwheat in folklife and customs.Based on the other data collected,this paper classifies and interprets the culture from the perspective of customs.The second chapter of the main body mainly describes the buckwheat planting tools and the folk rituals around the tools.This chapter studies the buckwheat planting tools from three aspects: the making method and function of buckwheat planting tools,the tools of old and new forms and the folk custom ceremony.The introduction of the tools includes the tools introduced in relevant books and the intact and still used traditional tools found in the field investigation.The third chapter in the main body mainly discusses the belief custom of buckwheat among the folk.This chapter analyzes and discusses the belief and custom of buckwheat based on the field investigation in Kulun Mongolians through the use of buckwheat crops in Kulun Mongolians' religion,folk belief and festival celebration.The last part of this paper reviews and expounds the history of buckwheat planting by the Mongolian people in Kulun.On this basis,this paper introduces the buckwheat grown by the Mongolian people in Kulun and the buckwheat culture and related customs produced under the unique living environment in Kulun.The conclusion is that buckwheat is not only a part of the life of Mongolian people in Kulun but also an indispensable cultural carrier and symbol for them.The appendix of this paper lists the resumes of several relevant persons interviewed by the author in the field survey who contributed great helps to the creation of this paper,including experienced elders,researchers of Kulun folk culture and hobby collectors of agricultural planting tools.They also share a common identity-both are followers of the Kulun buckwheat culture.
